There was squealing and bad words a plenty

Went to check out the trails at Hennops. I think maximum distance is about 20km, but there's good potential to add more. The first 3-4km we were laughing as it felt as if we were riding around someone's backyard in circles, eventually after the suspension bridge it got a lot more interesting. There's bits of trail you share with hikers and 4x4ers but we didn't encounter too many. Some rocky climbs and descents. On some of the downs, I was arse back and holding on for dear life, others I weighed up pain versus shame and walked. A couple of cattle gates scattered around, I have a few issues around these but managed a few of them, though some require lifting the wheel up and on - yeah that didn't happen, OH didn't do them either so I wasn't gonna try. Didn't see any animals other than cows and monkeys. Some pretty scenery and for unfit scaredy cats, some hairy bits - but fun all around. R60 for the day.

Haven't seen the series but if it features Nick Cace, can't be too bad. Another series that has a really cool soundtrack is Stranger Things.

Doing a bit of binge watching right now. I enjoy the sci-Fi , supernatural ,weird stuff but this seems to also make an effort in developing characters which is good.

Plonker award goes to me. First downhill at northern farm I can feel my back wheel washing out - stop, pull out the pump, for some reason it's in pieces - reassemble it, still no joy, decide to bomb it - dig in my bag, I can't find the adapter, remember we used it on Saturday and my OH must have put it in his bag. Finally manage to get a bit more air in with the pump, off I go, after a few kms flat again - without bomb can't want to stick a tube in. 3 guys stopped to help and loan their adapter, find out the bomb in my pack was a used one - they kindly used up 2 of theirs to get me going again, and wouldn't give me their details to reimburse them (another note to keep cash on me)- . It's funny how ppl often ride past you and ask if you ok but don't actually wait to hear the response, but to all the others - including a kid of about 10 thank you. Eventually gingerly rode back, had to walk some of the lose gravel bits - at least the constant stop / start afforded me some pretty views. Ai, a lot of work needed on the bike before next ride
