Really? sjoe - i remember going through his books as a kid in the school library - not sure I'd want to pick up a new one and possibly ruin a very fond memory.

I used to read a Stephen King book within 2 - 3 days tops , and I thought I'd read all his works (bar a few of the sci-fi ones) - I recently discovered his book '11/22/63' that I hadn't read - got so excited - but I just can't get into it. King used to be one of my favorite authors I've had it on kindle for over a month now - i'm about 13% into the book - either it's crap or I'm just not into it and other things are more interesting. Need one of those books that you stay up to read and lose track of time in ...

Hey mini hijack - tell me is would you say tranquilitas is relatively safe during the week to ride around on my own? Would stay on the routes close to camp, not too found of the bits going into town or past the dump as best of times. I think there's some disparity in the definition of a drop - personally I consider it something you can't roll off - so require lifting front a tad - but I know some consider a short steep downhill a drop too - the one I'm referring to is off the reeds section, from my pic turn left and down.

En route to BRB, I met fellow vale resident Long wheel Base. My little tiger, Grrrr was spotted on the back of my car ???? Then I'm normally pretty risk aversive on my solo rides, sticking to trails I know, but I got bored and turned into some of the blue routes. I had a whole lot of sphincter clenching moments but was pretty chuffed with myself getting around these rocks and small ups and downs. Then on another route i suddenly encountered a red arrow, at the end of that nicely manicured single track is a ****** steep down /drop - I had a look and thought noddafok. Walked back and noticed the chicken run sign I missed - phew.

but cool runnings and Roxy's weren't even on the strip (7'de laan that is) - but great fun. Feelin' Irie cocktails at Cool Runnings-ahhh, and the metal nights at Roxys. I used to love Melville - Ratz was my go to place - great tunes, great liquid coccaine shooters - great crowd. Dinner at Nuno's - drive by flashers, crazy drunken days - ahhh miss it . Haven't been to Melville in quite a while - Cafe Mexhico is still a favourite amongst mates for a piss up, but must say the vibe just ain't the same anymore. Would be nice if they could do a revival without making it all ponce. Areas like Norwood are on an upturn as well - good to see.

Went to watch the latest Bridgette Jones - not worth it - i like the fun frivolous aspect of the movie - but I couldn't get into this one - and the work Rene's had done on her face, i found myself more in awe of that than the plot.
