Dude/Dudet sorry to say but if you need DVD’s to help you do the training thing on a spinning bike then you will not have it for long and will sell it on the Hub soon. Stationary training is HARD!!!, And pushes self discipline to the extreme. I do my spinning training just as they do it in a spinning class; I get myself some up beat music and work out a routine as if I am teaching a class. I vary my training with climbs and sprints, log climbs out the saddle etc, you will need a fan blown on you to help you cool down. If you decide to do a 1 hour base like training ride at a specific HR then you can watch a dvd. I will not do that for it can soon throw a spanner in your self discipline works.

I rode VA before and paid my full license fee, and got seeded in VA/ VB. But some of my race I got seeded in A. Open seeded license is R75. Full license is R350 Cat1-4. My question is what happens to a full license Cat 4 rider that did not make the seeding for the next race? Will he be seeded in A or B ?

Bonked at my first provincials ever, Never did a TT in my life, so the 120Km was scheduled for the Saturday and the TT on the Sunday, So on the Saturday they decided to cancel the TT on the Sunday and do it on the Saturday before the 120, So I started my TT and obvious you give it your all, After my TT I was F…t!, We had 4 hours of rest and then we started the 120 km. I managed to stick 30Km, and then started to get tunnel vision and my legs just don’t want to turn, 7km/h is good, 6 o’clock that evening the backup vehicle pulled up behind me and I asked them how many riders are behind me, He told me they I am the last rider, still 50km to go at 7-10km/h???? Well all I can say is that my race ended their, I have bonked twice since,

Dude, forget the A bunch for now, I rode VA and A bunch, let me tell you this, I’m talking road. I agree with B/Monster, if you just ride against yourself to improve your previous times then you can ride any ware, but if you want to be a top 10 finisher then you need to work your butt off, and train right, if you start in F bunch and you can finish top 5 every time then you need to move on to E bunch and train to be the best in the E bunch before you move on to D etc, It is easy to get seeded in A bunch, but it is a different story to ride in A bunch and finish top 20. If you are the best of C bunch and you move over to B bunch, you are now the kakest of the B bunch, until you finish top 5, then move over to A, etc, etc.

I agree, this year will be my last Argus. I will rater focus on the and the Amashova, The reason is that the Argus now gets boring and expensive.

The annual poison rally was held this weekend at Rustenburg Kloof. I went out for my Saturday morning ride and on my way back home 07H00 the bikers were already up and on their back wheels, I have never seen so many riders on their bikes without helmets, one of the bikers passed me on his back wheel without his helmet. I was shocked to see that they just don’t care and that the organizers did nothing regarding the situation Saturday ended on an extremely sad note. One of the bikers and his Girl popped a wheelie (Both without helmets) and fell. The bike hit a woman and her boy (both spectators). The sad news is that the woman died and the boy is in a critical condition in hospital. The lady apparently has a daughter as well. What do you hubbers have to say??
