For those who remember young Bernard Kapp from Cape Town that was seriously injured last year around June (broke his neck) and we hubber's rallied together and raised some funds to help pay hospital bills and a hubber from Rustenburg, Call Me Crazy, donated a racing bike, helmet, shoes, computer, back pack & various clothing items, just heard the good news that he won his first MTB race and his age category in a road race held over the week-end!! I have asked coetzee to send us a complete update and just wanted all your good-hearted people to hear the good news and keep a look-out for this update. Well done Bernard!! spent the night after my recent accident in a state hospital. they x-rayed nearly every part of me. the aging eastern euopean doctor who examined me declared i had a broken nose and sent me home hours later. a day later, after much discomfort, i went to the private hospital near my home?and then the list of injuries got longer and longer as the doctor picked up the stuff the first one missed. or the fact that they picked-up all these extra injuries just because you were on a Medical Aid so they could charge 'accordingly'! Sorry to hear that lives were lost!! I pray that those injured will make a speedy recovery & my heartfelt condolences goes to the families of the dead little girl. RIP I have said it and I say it again, I will rather take a chance with a Taxi than with so called 'educated' people in their luxury cars & 4 x 4's.

Yep, be safe out there! Keep to the speed limit and especially take note of speed restrictions where they are busy working on the roads. I know the week-end is short, but rather be a few minutes late than to live with the guilt of someones death!

Thanks Dirt Twin We need to submit the road map depicting where we would like the signs erected. A fellow hubber is busy with that map and once complete I will ask him to contact you. Just be aware that most of the signs will be erected on Provincial Roads and I have been trying to contact a Mr. Marius Kayser at the Provincial roads dept. Will keep trying.

It is really sad to hear reports on the traffic news about a serious accident which occurred last night resulting in the roads being closed and again this morning there was yet another serious road accident in Pretoria. I Pray that you guys up North are kept safe!! GOD BLESS & Be Safe!!!!!

These are bog standard bearings. Don't forget to add the suffix 2RS which means 2 Rubber Seals (on the first two numbers). The second number goes together with another number. I will try old contacts and get back to you!
