  1. i LOVE it!!! think it is great and the way forward... we had these same discussions when disc brakes were introduced to mtb's... ie it will never take off... it will never be as light... etc etc...
  2. ORBIT TOUR DE WORCESTER CANCELLED Due to severely inclement weather and a tremendous amount of rain falling within the Worcester / Nuy Valley area, a bridge along a section of the long route has been completely flooded and submerged which has made a large part of the route unsafe and unable to be ridden. As a result of the lack of alternative routes, dates available, lack of alternative venues and in the interest of safety of all cyclists, the organisers have decided to cancel this event. Cyclists who have already entered for this event will receive a refund from the organisers. An additional league event for league riders participating in the PPA Spring League Series 2012 will be arranged for Sunday 30 September 2012, details of which will follow shortly.
  3. dis nou laf... back when i was in Matatiele/Kokstad an elderly couple used to do the same.. she would rider her MTB never faster than 20km/h and the Ballie would follow in his bakkie. makes me think he probably saved some diesel drafting behind the tannie..hhehehe
  4. really splitting hairs between 175 - 172.5... i see Lance now rides 172.5 on his TT bike for Triathlons and Crowie current Kona champ rides 170 and he is no midget

  12. 15-20 % is HUGE!!! even 10 % i am hoping that it should get better as the user gets fitter.... i am also assuming that if the difference stays at 10 % it is at least a number you can use to train with individually .. put my name on the list
  13. hahahahhaha! aweeee my bra
  14. BUt i give Momsen a BIG up for going this route... having the balls to try it , personally think it should have been a dually though. When i first turned Lloyd from Cape Cycles arm to bring me in the first set of 650's from AC he went and ordered 30sets.... and then chickened out ... that was back in Jan 2011.
  15. ja nee i agree that these could be better priced considering the good pricing on their 29er... but i know it will be a small order so they wont get a bulk deal like 9ers. paint jobs cost a fair few pennies too. Pornstar (blackspade) looked at doing 650's as well i think though he has gone with the 29er dually option
  16. i also did the search MONTHS ago because this brand was the Bees' knees but hardly anything to back it up with ... Personally think the supplier made a killing in profit whilst riding the CycleLab wave... these bikes were going for BIG moola

  23. Powasol is not a degreaser... it is a soap/dissolvent... does zip to you bearings... it contains no caustic... Revive is the powasol degreaser which is parafin based
