650b rocks.. very nimble and so plush on a dually.. you roll over rocks just that little bit better than 26er and it climbs wellish... now that i am on 29er i cant really say that i am climbing slower... in fact technical climbing is a breeze to roll up rockyledges.. does need some power though

http://www2.triplechallenge.co.za/ triple challenge has a brutal first run 19km of up and downs on dirt roads and wet grass and river to cross here and there. the mtb is fairly easy on the technical side but the run before makes those rolling hills a little more tougher. the last 7km run is a doddle but you will for sure cramp sometime during that run... unless you paddle... HARD mans race.

Also looking at the course videos... not too technical.. it's a climbers race and the tracks are wide and open with virtually nor rocky or rooty technical bits...(anti caveman)

there was alot of wild out and surely bit startled by all the riders approaching. Evan was in second place when this happened. The day before when we were pre riding the course a fella had an encounter with 3 rhinos and i had 5 Wildebees run JUSt infront of me on the trail... was pretty close, which Cycho also caught on camera.

woooohhhooooooo will have to upgrade to this... looooved my 305 and 310...they rock

i am PRO tri bike..... but that said.. if you are aiming at podiums... get a tri bike. other wise stay with the roadie and mtb idea... then you can do exterra

oops ... i once read that if a carbon cage is too wide put it in the oven then you can bend it. SOOO i am at work and only have this microwave just doing nothing.... 10seconds were enough to learn that is a GIANT mistake. RESIN she does does not like the radiation and creates SMOKE........lots of foul smelling smoke.... hehehe

MY philosophy if you want others to buy from you again sell something you are willing to buy... and yes some guys are really foolish to think they can sell at a 25% derpeciated value... when 2nd hand = 50% value or less (dependant on buyer demand)
