  2. I have new rubber brake blocks but looking for the holder. LBS haven’t seen them since the 80’s ????
  3. I have an early 60’s RIH built with Campagnolo Gran Sport. I think I posted a pic or two on the retro bike thread.
  4. Thank you FirstV8 for the offer but I am looking for a specific Campagnolo block//holder as in the photo. Don't throw away those blocks as they becoming rare.
  5. Sorry, I realised that most people wouldn't know what I am talking about. Here is a pic of the calipers showing the missing brake block/holder.
  6. I am looking for an old Nuovo Record/Super Record brake block holder. Willing to buy the part. Regards
  7. Looking forward to seeing everyone again.
  8. R1,200 - R1,500
  9. Best bicycle shop ever. It's a family run business, even the staff are considered family and most of their customers too!
  10. Looking forward to seeing everyone on Sunday! The weather appears to indicate a cloudy day after rain tomorrow so it will be lovely and fresh morning.
  11. Let's make some tees but change the wording to "if you've never ridden a Colnago ....."
  12. Thank you Greig, See you on Sunday!
  13. Veebee you don't need to ride alone. Park at Broadacres as suggested earlier and be ready to leave from about 06:00. Hook on to one of the groups and ask if you can ride along. I ride from there most weekends and we are always being invited to join in by the CycleLab group. Not as dangerous as everyone believes but take care once in the cradle as there are presently lots of cyclists of varying temperament and skill sets.
  14. I am selling this one of a kind Peugeot Carbon Pro painted by the ex-rider Richard Row Unfortunately the frame is too big for me and it has to go to make space for another project. Measures 56cm centre BB to top seat lug (55cm centre to centre) with 55cm top tube Campagnolo Chorus 10s groupset New 3ttt bar and stem Selle Italia Turbo Matic 2 saddle on rare Corima aero seatpin Corima 50mm wheels with new Gatorskin tubulars The Carbon Pro was released in Europe in the 1989 season and became a sought after bike after our local pros were sponsored them. This particular frame was bought by Richard Row who spend a few bob custom painting the frame and building it up to ride. Unfortunately circumstances prevented it from being ridden after the paintwork was completed and I bought the bike a few years back. The Chorus 10speed groupset is in very good condition. Contact me for more pics and details Also willing to strip and sell off frame.
  15. This is a mid to late 70’s Super. Nice find and would be a pity to see it as a SS. 70’s Campy parts are expensive but this bike will also look very nice with 2nd generation Dura Ace Tried posting this in a "Help me identify this Colnago" thread when I was offered this bike, however received no response. Trying again here after having bought the bike, somewhat impulsively Any ideas which Colnago this might be? It does say "Mexico" on a label, though I am 99% sure it isn't a Mexico as the fork does not match the pictures I have seen?
  16. I am looking for a head tube decal like this . 20200724_172425.jpg
  17. A quick follow up to advise that Janniecycling paid me last night (received a proof of payment at 20:44) and therefore I didn't suffer any loss. I recommend care with dealings with him going forward.
  18. Not sure why, works when I open the link.
  19. He said he was doing an EFT and I posted off the item in the interim. Not big money, only R400 but you learn. Only the second time to get taken on the hub so not bad after buying and selling hundreds of items on the hub.
  20. Care, I have just been scammed by Janniecycling. Jannie Schoeman lives in Lichtenburg and uses the mobile number +27(0)837968721. Here is a link to his Facebook page - https://www.facebook.com/jannie.schoeman.927
  21. Amazing that a large company the size of Reynolds will still deal with small "walk-in" customers.
  22. I took the liberty of posting on our whatsapp group. J, post on FB too.
  23. Oh no, the great Campagnolo Corsa Record Delta brake caliper debate. The haters who can't afford them and the lovers who like to boast! I have a few bikes with Delta calipers 2-4 generation and the effectiveness is primarily determined to how they are set up and as DJR says the quality of the blocks. Unfortunately they take time to set up property but the time and effort spent on the setup will allow one to enjoy them.
  24. Nice looking rih mixte! I rode my '68 Fongers built rih at Eroica South Africa this past weekend. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=537425080154799&set=a.537425050154802&type=3&theater
