  1. Cool Peugeot! Go to arts & crafts shop and look at miniature aircraft paints to match color. After good clean apply paint with small paint brush. Takes time but good finish can be achieved. Tricky part matching the paint. Go slightly lighter rather than darker. Takes time but worth it.
  2. Special collaboration between Size? (UK shoe retailer), Adidas and Colnago. The Trimm Star's sold out within a few hours and I missed the initial launch. eBay was the only option but crazy prices. Fortunately, an email popped into my box a few days ago to alert me to the fact that they had a few pairs still available. and I managed to pick up a pair. Very lucky and also had a mate visit from the UK to save me postage and duties. Wish I could afford the Master though but very thankful for what I already own.
  3. I wish! Enjoying my 30th Anniversary but prefer the ride on the xLite to be honest.
  4. Look what arrived on my desk this morning!
  5. Master 30th year anniversary
  6. sex on wheels
  7. Welcome. Pretty difficult finding a loose fixing bolt. I have used fixing nuts from old broken RD's. Getting the correct length is critical.
  8. Sorry, Nouvo Sport http://velobase.com/ViewComponent.aspx?ID=964ae418-a4ad-40d0-b6f0-64f6535fb153&Enum=108&AbsPos=68
  9. Could it be a Valentino rear derailleur body or is it to small?
  10. Between 89-92 would be my guess
  11. Anyone ordered a new frame yet? https://www.colnago.com/en/colnago-and-adidas-when-two-sports-myths-meet/
  12. I recognise this C45 in Robabank colours!
  13. Agreed. According to Bianchi Girl, Bianchi made hundreds of thousands of frames which they called different names depending into which market they were sold. Some of the frames needed serial numbers stamped depending upon the market (for example the USA). I have seen some frames with the model decal on the top tube.
  14. Certainly has value for the collector! Yes, Colnago had various accessories for sale over the years from shoes, clothing, sunnies, watches, etc. Some of these items are now very collectable. What size is the helmet?
  15. Now, if only they would bring out an option for a horizontal top tube instead of the sloping tube!
  16. Haven't posted pics for awhile so here are some bikes I recently rebuilt/built. Masi Prestige - Dec 1978 mixed SR/GS groupset with 3ttt Competitione bar & stem De Rosa Super Prestige early/mid 1970's with SR groupset F Moser AX Leader Oria kk tubing (slight crimped main tubes) with Chorus V10
  17. Very nice, looks to be in perfect condition. Lovely wrap around seat stay and nice lugs. Fork crown too. Don't hesitate, step through or mixte bikes don't command high prices in SA but are very collectable in Europe. Motobecane is a sought after frame manufacturer. Only issue would be trying to get the crank off the BB if it is French. No LBS's in Johannesburg carry French threaded crank pullers!!!
  18. Now that is a Tomma I could start to like!
  19. Very nice, I would would guess early to mid 2000's?
  20. The frame doesn't look like a respray! The frame is manufactured with Columbus Airplane alu same as the Dream/Lux Dream but down tube bi-conic shared with larger BB diameter. Top tube similar to master hence called the MIX.
  21. That is nice. The angle of the pic makes the bars look so big. Love the deep bend!
  22. PM sent. Dibs the Moser if it's for sale and my size
  23. No, Elize or Elite
  24. In defence of @BAZA, once you have sold something and the item is exchanged for cash it is no longer yours. The new owner is able to do what he or she likes, including selling the item for a profit.
