  1. He got a yellow card for dissent because of a refereeing decision he didn’t agree with. So he’s preaching about respect but he didn’t show respect to the referee. Anyways, these comments will come back to haunt him when decisions don’t go his way. Yesterday, all the decisions were correct, if anything spurs got lucky as Udogie should have been off earlier and Romero kicked out before the penalty incident. So Ange had nothing to moan about. Let’s see how he handles himself when the opposite happens.
  2. lol. Why would Ange have anything to complain about? All the decisions were correct. Udogie shouldve been off in the first half for a 2 footed lunge also. I want to see how graceful in defeat he is when decisions go against him. Secondly, you realise he got booked as well? So much for respect to referees.
  3. What was the purpose of having the shorter route go first?
  4. Not sure why we cant just keep our chips from the durbie dash? Instead of paying for a new one every time.
  5. Cipollini frames are just a thing of beauty.
  6. Eish. Point taken. Just based on the advice here then, it seems that a conversion is not preferable. So either get a gravel bike and get better on the hardtail at tech stuff. Or get a full sus and use the hardtail for gravel events. Still doesn’t feel like im anywhere closer to a decision 😂
  7. Yeah, I’ll have to get a shorter stem to compensate but ill do the maths before i commit.
  8. Don’t wanna get rid of the frame I have so not an option. Should have specified that in my post.
  9. I’m in a similar conundrum myself. Currently have a hardtail and loved all the gravel races this year. I really do think the sport is going to grow exponentially. My dilemma is. If I were to add a third bike should I get a gravel bike or a full sus? If I go full sus, I can then essentially convert the hardtail into gravel bike and then use the full sus for all mtb related things. Or do I just keep the hardtail and just get a proper gravel bike one time? Where am i going to sacrifice or gain the most? I really enjoy all disciplines as it stands. I do feel that the full sus will maybe allow me to do more varied terrain. At the same time though, a gravel specific bike is going to faster in the gravel races. How much can I close this gap by converting the hardtail to drop bars? Quite the conundrum this.
  10. Double Du Toitskoof ascent yesterday.
  11. I was thinking of selling the 130 anyway so might as well just replace it. If they give me a new one which assume they will given the unit is 2 months old I will sell it as a sealed unit. I loved the size of the 130 and that was primarily the reason for buying it but the battery life is a bit disappointing. If I have a route loaded with climb pro, navigation, heart rate and cadence working. I’m getting maximum 7 hours. I need a bit more than that.
  12. Well it’s been 1 week now and no word yet. I’m probably going to just buy another one myself. I can’t go so long without a device and my watch battery struggles to last more than 3-4 hours.
  13. They loaded Durbie Dash but none of the other events like Old Hermon, PPA Mtb Challenge etc. Everything is deurmekaar at the moment.
  14. Interesting route this. I think this one definitely suits Pog much better. Loads of shorter & sharper climb stages. 2 mountain stages in final week will probably be key again but it seems less mountainous than last years route.
  15. I think they opened Chappies again but closed it 2 days ago due to some rockfalls. Not sure if its reopened again yet.
  16. My 2 month old 130 plus just stopped working as well. Took it back and they’re telling me it’s a 6 week wait for them to assess. What am i supposed to do for 6 weeks 🤦🏻‍♂️
  17. Franschhoek pass on closed roads is just amazing. Wind not so much though. IMG_5258.mov
  18. I’ve ridden Bains when the wind has been pumping like crazy and yeah it’s not fun. The claim itself is okay as I think the mountains protect it but the lead into the climb on the Bains road is the issue. It’s basically a funnel for the wind. That being said I went up Franschhoek pass yesterday it was seriously windy there as well. Climb was still manageable though so I’m not sure how they determine what is too windy.
  19. Can I also say that frame is absolutely beautiful. I love a classic looking bike with now dropped seat stays.
  20. I voted the second Enve pic.
  21. Mate, thanks for the swift service on my order. Just ordered some tyres from Evo on Tuesday and boom they arrived this morning. Fantastic. Sorry for going off topic.
  22. I mean if it’s if your rides are more than 90 minutes then defineitely swop over to endurance option. Your target then increases to 1200 but you can then earn 600 points for an exercise at a lower intensity.
  23. There must be an error here as the whole point of it was to entice you to exercise more by increasing your goal the fitter you get. If you’re stuck at 600, then clearly something is wrong but I wouldn’t bother querying it as you are the one benefitting. Your wife’s one is working correctly. It will stop at 900 points once she hits that target.
  24. The cap is 900 points per week. It will never go more than this (for now) unless you choose the endurance option where it increases to 1200. If she is exercising more, the target will go up until it hits 900.
  25. A bit of wind and everyone all of a sudden poep scared. I got pushed in because someone refused to pass a rider who was clearly suffering ahead of him. Guy just refused to go on the right for 5 seconds in the wind. I ended up getting boxed in, went over a cat eye and next thing wheel is flat and basically ended my race. When I got back on, had to solo for 60km and actually got to witness all the social guys suffering in the wind. Man I felt so sorry for them.
