  1. If you’re looking for racing, fast rolling tyres, I’ve had the Pirelli Scorpion’s RC Lite and they’ve been fantastic. Really fast rolling with enough grip. They might wear faster than your usual tyres though.
  2. Send me a PM. I can arrange something for you if you’re interested. I am a Financial Advisor.
  3. I don’t agree with changing rules last minute but I also want to see the best competing with the best. They need to figure out a better way to resolve a situation like this going forward. Moving on from that, I gotta say Pinarello really smashed it out of the park. What a way to announce yourself to the mtb world.
  4. Make sure you keep all your invoices for all your upgrades. At the end of the day, the onus is on you to prove that your bike is worth that amount.
  5. People will hit on these bikes and Pinarello in general always stating they’re way overpriced and all that jazz. However you can’t deny they have proper racing pedigree. They win bucketloads of races. To win with Pidcock on debut with the full sus earlier and now again on debut with the hardtail is pretty amazing. They definitely have a knack for identifying the correct talent and team.
  6. How was the customs process with ordering from overseas? And did you ship via DHL?
  7. I’ll be honest with you, I find it very difficult to trust someone’s knowledge. Part of the problem is, I consider myself extremely knowledgeable with most cycling related stuff. I’m very stubborn and I believe that I have my fit dialled in 100% after years of riding. I don’t suffer any pain anywhere so that helps as well. So in my opinion, I wouldn’t waste my money on something that I don’t believe is going to make much if not any difference at all. However that Selle Italia machine at Cyclelab intrigues me. It’s made me consider maybe trying it out because at least this way it cuts out any human element. However I still haven’t done it yet. Maybe i will though.
  8. That obligatory Chappies pic.
  9. They recently upgraded the game board. If you want the guaranteed coffee then you must click for instant reward. Otherwise wait for the game board where you can either more or slightly less. The upgraded system does allow you to earn more miles based on your card spend or exercise points.
  10. Anyone know if they are going to update the Team Vitality calendar for the last quarter. just comparing it to last year, there’s hardly any races qualifying for cash back. In 2022, so many more races qualified for cash back.
  11. I love refreshing my bar tape. Gives your bike a nice fresh look so I don’t mind spending a bit. Currently using supacaz hologram. It’s a bit bling but really pops in the light.
  12. Yeah. So my question was basically how do i use Buffalo if i want to ship something from Aliexpress?
  13. I would definitely go bibs over traditional shorts.
  14. How does this actually work? If you buy on the shein website does it automatically ship via Buffalo? And what about Aliexpress?
  15. When I lived overseas in the UAE for 5 years, they had an option where you could add insurance to the entry fee if the event got cancelled for a very small extra cost. I’m surprised we dont have an option like this here by us.
  16. She won because she was clearly the strongest. My previous comments still stand though. SDWorks tactics were shocking throughout the tour but at the end of the day the strongest rider won. If they’d worked for her from stage 1, she’d probably have a 5 min lead she’s that strong. Congrats to Ash. She stuck it out with the big guns today. Was hoping she would have a bit of a kick at the end but alas still a great achievement. One massive difference between the men’s and women’s races are the strength of the teams. Bar SD works, i feel there is a big drop off from the team leader and the rest of the team. You don’t really have much leadouts or trains at all and that’s on sprint stages and mountain climbs. The men’s GC leaders have far stronger support which i feel makes a huge difference.
  17. And just as I posted this, this morning. SDWorks yet again show just how incompetent they are. This team is going to cost Vollering this tour. I can already see how this is going to play out. They’re clearly a team of individuals who all want their own things. How no one waited for Vollering is beyond me and she actually got lucky that the penalty was only 20 seconds. It’s comical tactics at this point. Reusser attacks up the road then all of a sudden just stops working with Movistar. Kopecky way to far out and they lose another stage. It’s hilarious 😂
  18. Race is starting to become real interesting now. I have a few thoughts though: 1. The tactics of SD Works is pretty questionable. SD Works are probably the most dysfunctional team I’ve ever come across. They seem to complicate everything for some reason which just boggles my mind. One minute Kopecky is attacking off the front, then she’s back with the group then she’s attacking again, then she’s on the radio looking for instructions, then she’s looking across the peloton to her teammates who are on the other side of the road. Then Vollering is riding on the front closing the gap to her teammate, meanwhile they still have a teammate up front in the breakaway who they never asked to drop back when it was clear there was no chance of a stage win. It’s an absolute comedy fest at SD Works. 2. Vollering is by far the strongest rider. I think it’s clear that AVV is not at the level. She wasn’t at the level earlier in the year as well and she only won the Vuelta because again SD Works and their peegate tactics. The only way AVV wins this tour is by SD Works messing this up again and I think there is a good chance it could happen. If Im AVV, I would attack before the Tourmalet already and let SD Works just completely self destruct. 3. Ashleigh is again looking really good on terrain that is not really her strength. I have big hopes for her on that Tourmalet stage. It’s a long climb and perfectly suited to her. If she can conserve energy and just ride at her own power, i think she’ll do really well. AVV really does not look good at all but she always seems to pull something out so I don’t wanna pre-empt it but I think Ash can beat her on Saturday. Let’s hope.
  19. She looks fantastic at the moment. Spent some time at altitude as well just before the Tour started. Honestly, outside of AVV and Vollering, that third spot is up for grabs. And that Tourmalet stage is right up her sleeve. So if she conserves energy I think she can do really well on that stage. She’s already shown that she can drop AVV so fingers crossed it happens again.
  20. Not taking anything away from Jonas. He has clearly showed us he is the best and imo would have won regardless of Pog’s preparation and if he is healthy. He’s clearly the best. Im just referring to the drop off from Pogi. Maybe Im reading too much into it which is most likely. When asked earlier, Pog said he wanted to win Flanders before Tour de France. Flanders was his main goal this year which he achieved. Would he have been better if he focused solely on the tour? Probably buy i still feel Jonas would have been stronger regardless.
  21. I wonder if Pogi might have some sort of illness or some problem. Not looking for excuses but his face just hasn’t been what it normally is and this going back before the time trial. There was one stage where he cant follow Rodriguez on the descent and doesn’t get the win which is very unlike Pogi. The next day Yates sets a super hard tempo and maybe he was bluffing but his face just looked terrible and to finish it off, Jonas ends the stage next to him and almost gives him that look after he couldn’t drop him. Then the TT, he gets destroyed by Jonas. And today he was just completely ******. Maybe his lack of preparation because of the injury is catching up on him or perhaps hes picked up some sort of illness.
  22. Pretty much confirms again that on these really long climbs, Tadej is much weaker than Jonas. Happened last year and happened again this year. Well done to Jonas. He deserves all the success as he’s been the strongest at the hardest parts of the race. Pogi needs to work on those longer climbs for next year. Also for someone that has no preparation going into the tour, he’s actually done fantastic to keep up with Jonas given the level he’s at right now.
  23. Yeah but on the road race is talking about doing a gravel climb 3 times?
  24. Is this a road race or a gravel race? I’m confused.
