  1. TOUCHE.
  2. This is why I gave up road cycling about 10 years ago. Maybe I am selfish but I don't like sharing with cars, busses or taxis. Off road I don't have to share with any of them. Only with other Mountain Bikers who greet me with a smile and a friendly wave.
  3. What about the landing gear on a plane? The wheels on your car? Both are only bolted on to one side! Here is a pic of a Yeti with a Lefty... I am not knocking them. I just think they look strange. I would be uncomfortable riding one. As I said I am a bit old fashioned.

  9. dirty' date=' the D&D crowd always has a sweeper as well, and at the end of every 'speed zone' or downhill or piece of singletrack, the leader waits for the sweeper before they continue. I kep going back to their rides because i know that i will not be left behind. [/quote'] I agree cat-i. I always felt comfortable in the knowledge that, if anything ever happened, the group remained a group and never became split up. If there was an incident, such as a flat tyre, everyone waited until it was repaired. No-one went off alone. D&D was/is well organised. jagwil2009-05-27 12:31:39
