  1. RedRover, it just was not a good experience. The night ride was good and something different. Saturday was tough(maybe to tough, I like to spend quality time on my mtb but not suffer endless ours in the saddle). I have never ever spend 6 hours in the saddle even on much longer rides! The food was poor and it leaves a bad taste in my mouth if I have to pay for a Energade or beer after 6 hours on the bike. Water points only had a few small bar-one's and very "vlou" energy drink. Compare this to Berg,Bush&Decent where all water points have more food than a Boston BBQ, you can eat all day long, all drinks are for free(inculding ALL BEERS), all masages are free and atmosphere are generaly much better! I realy just feel(most probably like most of the other riders that wont do it again) that it is just not value for my mola!
  2. Can't agree--totaly over rated. Won't do it again. I always think numbers do the talking and now I know why so little poeple do the Magalies adventure! Sani2C Berg,Bush&Decent J2C Three Towers
  3. Excuse my ignorance but as far as I know Team DCM is no more?
  4. All I care they could have replaced my wheel nut sensors as well as my steering wheel waterpump since it is still on motor plan and I pay boggeroll!!
  5. I know f@@@@ol about all these new cars!! Give me my 1990 Range Rover and I will fix it up, but these new things......? I know I had to change all my "coils of my hydrolic valves for my BMW" and all the signs where simmilar to the OP's? Since you are in the car bussines maybe you can tell me wether they screwed me or not?? I thaught the LRP thing is maybe just co-incedental?
  6. Yip, P-Town is full of these! Remeber seeing all those chase scenes on Reality Zone and all those cars were fitted with cameras that measured and displayed the speed of the car in front?
  7. So just drain your feul tank and refill with unleaded. If the problem persist, consider the coils for the hydrolic valves?
  8. How do you know there are no virgins?
  9. A plastic surgeon for Carpal tunnel? You need a orthopeadic surgeon!
  10. Eish... that will kick my cars' buts. Very nice! I am more into the classics though...Alfa Spiders, MG A, Range Rover Classic, that sort of thing.
  11. "hijack on" Hi, we have something in common. A love for cars Respect man! What do you have? Serouisly, what do have? (no cock contest, my wife sucks me dry[eish, that didn't come out right ] with the horses, I wish I could have a bigger car collection)
  12. Dear "what ever you are" It will only be my pleasure. Which one of my two horses would you prefer I dismount? Regards Your Doc
  13. You can't afford my autograph clearly. And my brother studied archit. So I know exactly what they do! I also know that he had a student job.......
  14. *** MAN!!!!!!!!! I studied Medicine for frikken 6 years! We( med students) have to work 3 nights a week in your final 3 years! And it is not like you woessies that sit and ponder about the "flow" of this and that! You flippen stand on your feet in a sh@t covered goverment hospital and stich/repair 200 shot/axe/stab wounds every evening, deliver flippen 60 gu covered babies and try to get your ward patients organized before the proff comes at 6am! You work until 7 am without sitting once. Then class starts at 8am. If you are not at class, you do not get to write the exams, klaar! And wait, there is more........I worked 2 evenings every week at the lab, got married on that salary, cycled and went on holidays......... Yes, I only slept 2 evenings a week, but hell, at least I know how to work! You are just a lazy ASS
  15. Yip, varicose veins. As stated the "one-way" valves (those that prevent the blood that should go back to the heart to return to the legs) in the supperficial veins of the legs that has gone bust. Causes: age, thrombosis, liver problems, hepat-splenic hypertension, some times excesive exercise can also do this(like the muscle builders have on thier arms and chest), etc, etc.... Should it get removed?...... if not symptomatic, no. But they can cause ulcers, DVT, pain infection(thrombophlebitis) and should then be looked at.
  16. Like "that"/ our brand??
  17. Ja, ja, miskien of miskien nie en my mp. en prak.no. oor 'n public forum---nie so goeie idee! Ons het almal van die punt afgedwaal. Soos jy self gese het, alles het komplikasies en dit is waarom een van die moeilikste besliute in medisyne die "risk vs cure" besliut is, blah, blah, blah To get back to the OP's original Q and my intial point: Will it give you such a massive advantage(from Joe Slow to pro) NO. Do top pro's use it to mask other drugs and get that 1 second advantage: sometimes
  18. So mister know it all, on what wonder drug did he put your son on? I would love to find out which drug would control your son's asthma and does not contain a steroid???? p.s Try this search....PANADO+ LIVER FAILURE+ SUDDEN DEATH SYNDROME... Now would you ever give your son Panado again? All chronic maintenance asthma meds are steroids in one form or the other. It is only the Beta 2 stimulants which are not, and they are not asthma meds for chronic use, they are for emergency use only. The only other class is the Leucotrine receptor blckers and they are only add on meds to asthma meds. p.p.s Becarefull of who you want to educate here...I might just be your kids paediatrician.
  19. Not true at all. As I mentioned in my other post, this is a highly selective corticoid that only works in the lungs. Very, very little systemic effects. It is the chronic use of systemic corticoids that hamper growth. These include Prednisones like Pulmison, Panafcort, Aspelone etc, etc. These are brilliant drugs but only for short term treatment.
  20. To lodge a TUE request at WADA you need to provide a positive Bronchodilator Inspiration/Experation Flow Volume test. CAN'T fake that.
  21. The newer generation asthma pumps are highly selective to the beta-2 cells in the airways and thus the only effect it will have is to open your bronchi. Willit have a bigger affect in non-asthmatics?---not massive, bronchi/airways can only dilate that much. Will it give pro's that five milliseconds advantage--yes. Will it make an avarage joe a podium finisher--NOT A CHANCE!
  22. You get asthma pumps and asthma pumps.......... Some are completly prohibeted by WADA and others not. E.g: Two of the most commonly used inhalers Symbicort and Seretide. Symbicort prohibitted and Seretide allowed by WADA. Can of worms...........
  23. Squirt is nice and clean but only usefull in dry conditions.Since it now is winter and you are from my valley and it doesn't rain here in winter it will be a good choice for now, BUT if summer returns and the lekker mud is back it will be useless. In summer rather go with something oil based.
  24. The world is forever evolving. If 99% of the pro's prefer it, there must be advantage in it. I heve my 26 FS and I will ride it untill I need to get a new bike. Then I will deff go the 29 FS route. But I will deff not just go out and buy one now 'cause jan-rap-en-sy-maat says so.
