  1. Plus a couple of pallets of gold headed for Switzerland....
  2. Wasn't the plane empty on leaving ORT? Not sure how you can get the weight of an empty plane wrong by 90 tons??
  3. One of our local swimming spots - La Gorga, Boltaña..... Can't wait for summer now!!
  4. I had to go on a fairly long car trip once and the day before, my car developed a "noise". And old guy I worked with asked me what I was going to do - I said "turn the radio up". Ignorance really is bliss :-)
  5. Crazy times.
  6. Just posted this on my "The Pyrenees" thread. There's always a line :-)

My fav. chocolate bar - which was discontinued some years ago and toffees I used to eat as a kid :-)
  9. It was amazing. And don't forget the original RB-211 came out a long long time ago. There may be a whole host of older 747 Freighters using them around the world. I'd love one to play with . . . . .
  10. Yep. Off retired 747's apparently. I'm sure there's a ton of them somewhere!
  11. A hanger full of power!
  12. Yesterdays blast on the MTB . . . . stopped up in the Old Town to grab some water from the "Fuente" and a couple of pics..... My bike with the Peña Montañesa behind it and the Rio Cinca looking south towards the Mediano Dam. It was a beautiful day and good to be out :-)
  13. There are loads of little walks around here. One of our favs takes us along the Rio Ara to this little bridge next to a picnic spot just outside Boltaña. Today I read that the local council are going to refurbish the bridge and improve the picnic area for the summer. I enjoy the walks, but invariably I see bike tracks...... and I wish we were riding!
  14. A road ride finishing in Graus Plaza today. A great day out :-)
  15. Another Road Ride today with Jose. From Boltaña to Graus Plaza - 53km with 900m of climbing. Open roads, sunshine, no traffic, some climbing..... and some descending. We saw Vultures and a pet Jabalíe (Wild Boar), we met friends and had lunch. It was a great day out :-) Some amazing views today . . .
  16. I think he may have mentioned this before, how many blades there are, how much they weigh and how long it takes?
  17. Cool. Can you imagine the relief in the room when the main 'shute opened?
  18. I'm guessing that the joke is that people who don't know, think every prop plane is a Cessna? When my youngest lad was small every helicopter was "a Lynx"... (apart from a Chinook, which was different enough for him to notice)
  19. They are used to flying low . . . crazy french pilots flying close to the sea - YouTube
