  1. Undoubtedly the same one I'm talking about.
  2. There was one of those parked outside a shop in Bergvliet which I used to see every for a while morning on my way to school. IIRC it was only there while he was running it in, then it moved to the track. I feel lucky to have seen so much of it since a lot of people don't even know it exists.
  3. I agree. Love the bike, just not in those old colours.
  4. The first guy had plenty of time to sort it out, and if he hasn't then he loses out. Made all the worse by not having any contact info for him. Move on.
  5. Surely the guy on the plane couldn't have released it though, if he was on the plane? The "missing" guy needed to have done that. Or am I 'missing' something completely?
  6. The new modern V12 might sound just as good but be more efficient. That would be my choice.
  7. I hope you arrived with beer in hand.
  8. That looks very low and slow for a 737?
  9. Sure, but then just say that it'll take a few days because of a backlog or whatever and then treat the walk in as the bike being booked in then. No need to make the guy feel bad about walking through the door.
  10. This is my method too. Simple and effective.
  11. Even their video makes it look like a hooligans weapon. I like.
  12. What's with the missile on the right wing?
  13. Looks great! With the weather we're having in CT today (rain) my left knee is throbbing reminding me of the last fateful time I rode a ZX250R almost 20 years ago...
  14. That's the one. You were lucky then! We couldn't move and the plane was completely shut down - IE no A/C.
  15. I flew to JFK many years ago with a fuel stop over in the Cape Verde Islands which we weren't allowed to disembark for. That ended up being a 19 hour flight on the top deck of a 747. Not the most fun experience I've ever had, and not one I'd do again in a hurry.
  16. I had a great time again this year! Saw lots of crashes though, and many in really weird places. Do most people avoid rocky riding in general? The guy who crashed into the river drop just before the second water point yesterday though - just thinking of his wrist making an S bend makes me feel naar Heal up soon buddy.
  17. Spotted this dude last weekend. I'm not sure how I feel about cafe racers, but this one caught my attention.
  18. I've had similar in a riverbed in Franschhoek. I looked at the bike lying on its side under water while my body was at its most broken after fighting (hard riding) for the last few hours. It was a tough decision between trying to get the bike out and fixing it on the side of the river or just walk away and leave it there forever
  19. So basically, he didn't get away because he told someone his plan. If he served his full term he would have gotten out last year.
  20. Read through this story - I hadn't heard it before, and it sounds epic! Thanks for sharing!
  21. I use the Lyne Holy Rail and bag. It's great! All my bike repair stuff goes in there as well as my activity permit so everything I need is always on the bike. It makes no noise whatsoever and is simple. Pic from BikeHub:
  22. Let's add some science:
  23. My KTM (mentioned a few pages back) was outside the mechanics shop in the UK and a white van pulled up next to it, three guys got out and loaded the bike in the back and were gone before anyone noticed anything. I saw the CCTV of the event and it was fast!

    MotoGP

Rinz's Suzuki had amazing corner speed all race! Wish that Maveric had pulled closer a bit sooner.
  25. Looking forward to the yellow lines It's what I (and everyone) have been wanting forever.
