  1. I had the same issue with an update last year sometime - it was working perfectly, then updated, then my system was too low spec. I went through the whole support system with multiple different people trying to fix the issue, but in the end they said it wouldn't work anymore and they were phasing out the things which allowed the old systems to work as they were clashing with the newer systems. It was an old graphics card driver issue on mine - the update required drivers to be newer than a certain age, but my old card had no newer drivers available and therefore wouldn't run Zwift anymore. I tried all sorts of new graphics drivers which would work on my card but nothing solved the problem and I was losing more hair over it. In the end I just got a new graphics card. In hindsight I wish I had done it ages ago as it made my PC much more usable and quicker. Also replaced the HDD with an SSD two weeks ago, and these two changes have taken my PC up to a 6.8 rating out of 7 on the Windows performance index, so I'm happy. In the end I conceded that Zwift can't keep making their systems run in a backdated way to enable my crappy old system to continue working. Evolution. I upgraded and moved on, and I'm a happier better person for it
  2. Yes, but the passenger seat on my car isn't 50m away from the drivers seat. But my point was more about the center of mass during a turn and how the two fuselages will rise or fall depending on the direction of the turn as opposed to a single fuselage being the central rotation point on a regular plane.
  3. It wouldn't be a good event if you didn't have some stories afterwards
  4. Do captain and co-pilot each have their own fuselage? I imagine it must feel quite weird to be piloting a plane when you're not in the centre of it - I'm thinking specifically about banking or trying to land cross wind.
  5. Oh my
  6. I looked at the road closures now - I'd be fighting them the whole way. How many beers are available? Otherwise maybe riding there and back as well wouldn't be a terrible idea.
  7. My plans have changed, so I'm back in! How do I get back to the south peninsula afterwards though?
  8. They're not very technical, you'll be fine.
  9. I preferred it in past years when the beer was at the top of the hill and you then just roll (race) down the hill to the finish. Last years one where they take you on a not so scenic 10km loop around the farms after the beer wasn't nearly as good.

I have, at Silverstone for the whole race weekend. Was great! Wish I had gone to more while i lived there.
  11. Aah man, I was being a dumbass again. This is over easter, that's why I've never done it before - we go to my folks out of town for easter every year. So I'll be missing it again, and the Tokai build which I signed myself up for later that day
  12. I've been wanting to do this since the first one. I think this should be the year to do it.
  13. Come here to read about NZ, end up looking at reviews for TV's I don't need for half an hour....
  14. A colleague bought a Honda NC the other day and I rode it home for them. I was quite impressed by it, especially after seeing all the reviews of it being a lethargic commuter. Its got some decent mid range punch and enough gearing to be able to cruise of the freeway very comfortably. The little airbox growl when you give it some beans is also quite nice. The exhaust is VERY quiet though. Can't hear it at all. And the headlight sucks. But overall I was quite impressed.
  15. I'm confused by your comic sans. Does it mean I shouldn't take it seriously and therefore should post pictures?
  16. For reference to your points: When I broke mine I couldn't lie on my side for about three months without having a lot of pain. I also only had about 20% ROM for the first couple of weeks. My bruising was legendary though - I normally don't bruise, but my whole shoulder, chest and hip were a dark shade of purple for six weeks!
  17. But how fast can you change your belt if it snaps in a Zwift race? At that price, if it's working well you might as well get a few spares.
  18. I hope the design has been improved from the Piaggio MP3 which I tried out many years ago. I could never feel if I was falling over or just going around a corner. Zero feel or feedback. Plus it felt wider to ride between cars than a GSA1200 and more ungainly. I just don't see the point personally.
  19. Three easy solutions: Take the clip part off the chip and cable tie the chip directly to your fork leg Take the clip part off the chip and thread the chip onto a strap on your shoe Put a little cable tie around the chip on the clipAll of these have the lasting effect of completely eliminating the annoying rattle.
  20. I noticed the wood as well - it adds a really nice aesthetic to what could quite easily be a clinical metallic operation.
  21. The only thing I don't like about that model is the silver rims. I know it's only cosmetic, but it makes the bike look a bit dated (in my opinion). Slap on some black Excel's and it'll be a winner. Can't wait for the 400 version
  22. I did mine last year, right at the shoulder joint and at a funky angle. I had to get the dreaded hook plate. That thing is awful and I don't recommend it at all. I still have pain when lying on that side for a while and the joint seems to 'pop' when I'm swimming. Otherwise it's not too terrible. I was on the IDT after two and a half weeks after the plate was put in and at four weeks I went on a 260km MTB ride around the Cererberg for 14 hours. Proper trails after about six weeks. BUT, there was a lot of pain. not specifically when riding, just all the time. That hook was apparently pushing the bone down onto the rotator cuff and it was mega uncomfortable. I didn't have a choice since half of my bone was pointing skywards and the other half, who knows... I feel that my recovery was awful and very painful. Also, after the second surgery to remove the plate there was a night and day difference. A weight had literally been lifted. No more continuous pain. And I went on a 120km ride two days after the op. I'd say the recovery time after the second op was really not an issue at all and shouldn't deter you from getting the plate in the first place. Depends on the plate. if your break is in the middle of the bone and it's a flat plate then I believe it can stay in if its not bothering you. For me and the hook plate I was told that it'll do more damage than good if it's left in there after the bone has fused, and I'd definitely agree with that based on the pressure I felt from it every day.
