Dunno if I'm wrong but I personally feel you can ride yourself slow but doing too many long easy rides. I don't get to ride as often as i want so when I do I try to hammer it. Of course easy rides have their place but if you are not hurting on most of your rides you are wasting your time. Your body wants to become as strong as possible so ask more of it and it will give you more. This is of course my opinion and how I train, I am not a race winner so I wouldn't listen to me anyway.

Drink 500ml of banana mageu #1 before the race then go flatout till you blow.

Lekka ride, felt olympic but missed my PB finish cos of unclear marking, stopped a few times to find the correct route and got "lost" in the last 2km. Was a larff to ride with my china Danny though.

Nyeh.....my opinion....if i was stronger i would've enjoyed it more, this hammering on sand roads farrrks me up. Gimme a climb and a descent anyday. VG is gonna be brilliant! I know all the short cuts.

Just concerned about the two riders that went down this morning. In the dip by toadbury hall. Young girl looked sort of ok but the older gent was in really bad shape. Any news? Horrible to see.
