Won't say he is the only one with a personality in the sport, but I think he is the most likeable for the most people, if you look at the fan base he has around the world. Personally I support Honda, don't care who rides their bikes or about personalities. A load of front end problems again yesterday, but MM made everyone else look like amateurs. People making mistakes, overriding just to try and stay in contact. How he does not lose the front end with his crazy style ... Dani looked good and seems to have been happier with the softer tyre, a shame he had the crash and took Dovi out. So sounds like JL is going to Ducati, I would never have thought that he would have the guts to do it, will believe it once it's official. Who does Ducati get rid of, as both their riders look like they can challenge to podiums this year?

Bridgestone had similar issues few years back, it's a teething thing, Michelin will get it right at some stage, just take time, unfortunately at the expense of rider safety ...

Reddings rear tyre delaminated, hitting him on the back ... like Baz had in the Sepang testing. So they were cautious to run full distance with the tyre, thus split the race up in 2 halves for safety. As well as forcing the riders to run a higher minimum pressure.

Honda is nowhere without Marquez, DP finished almost 30sec. behind him. Rossi and DP were both very lucky to be on the podium yesterday. JL seems to not want to race if everything is not going his way, he even seems to lose interest and stop concentrating. A bit one dimensional from him. I wonder how much difference there are in the 2 bikes each rider has. They always seem to have a favorite one, but surely they should be identical? As I understand MM started the race on bike 2, and did the 2nd halve on bike 1, Rossi other way around, might explain why Rossi was faster in 1st halve and MM 2nd halve?

Would be interesting to get the weights on these bikes, it seems they are not all out on weight saving and even less of a "weight weenies" than some amateurs!

Would be cool to know the rand per gram of each build here, my bike works out to R3 per gram

I wonder how many of these bikes and owners come in under 80kg ... combined ...

What have you changed on it? Would like to know what you changed to get it that low, especially on a XL frame ... I have a Large 2014 Anthem X1 with 1 x 10 conversion, Wide Lightning wheels, Nobby Nic and Rocket Ron SS tubeless, ESI grips, Look STrack pedals, 720 alu flatbar, and it comes in at 11.6kg ready to ride.

So once I subscribe to the weekly newsletter, I'm auto in on all the draws this year?

Yup I agree. Have done 2 x 45km, 2 years ago it was a serious single track rocky climb and a mean descent that tested your skills to the max. Last year it was a wide open track that was no challenge, except for your fitness. Is the route this year again the same, wonder if they will change it again? The route should be like the haka climbs, afterall it's called the Monster, not the Sissy.

Stoner seems to have one mission,make that Duc a Yamaha and Honda eater ... Interesting to see what happens. When he was at Ducati few years back he was blamed for taking the bike into a direction where only he could ride it. Now he is actually part of the testing team, interested to see how that develops. Perhaps it was just that Ducati never listened to the changes he wanted to make in the first place.

What this means is Rossi had to test more settings and make more changes in order to match JL's pace. JL was fast from the 1st time he went out in this test, thus did not have to test that much as Rossi. I bet JL was himself surprised with his own pace being so much faster than the rest. Rossi being Rossi will make sure he mentions it though just to stir a bit. The Hondas as looking crap, its gonna be a long year for the Team i support ... Hope im wrong but dont think so.

One lap, or a whole race if he's in front, hopefully he cannot quali 1st every race
