what can happen if you run your tyre pressure too low for your weight?

Hi All I'm looking for a cyclist who was in Valhalla on Saturday morning at about 8am: My dad came off his bike while on a training ride and two cyclists stopped and helped him. The guy who arrived second called us today, but my mom would like to thank the guy who arrived first, and found out if he knows what happened - my dad had a severe concussion and cant remember what happened. if anyone knows of this guy, please can either give him my details or ask him to call my mom. my email is mwilliams at mweb dotcoza, and my Mom's number is (zero eight three four four two one two five six) thanks!

the bike I'm looking at buying has UST rims, but comes with standard Crossmark tyres. Is it better to upgrade to UST tyres? What are the other options in this case?

crow, following on from your post, do you (or anyone think) its worth getting a short travel bike? I'm looking at the new Giant Anthem x1 (4"), but some guys advised me to look at the trance (5") given that I will always weigh over 90kg. I dont want to limit the riding I do to only XC type stuff, but also longer marathons/multi-day rides. What do you think? Will the extra inch of travel really make a difference?

Since my MTB become unridable a while back, I stopped following MTB equipment. I'm looking to buy a new bike, so what's the difference between centre-lock and 6 bolt? (I'm talking about benefits, not the obvious design stuff) also what does a through-axle refer to?
