  1. how you going to get your knees past it or do you have to worry about getting past your boep first?
  2. Bottle mount is useless where it is.
  3. I guess I would alone in thinking these momsen's are not terribly attractive to look at. Ms Making that down tube less of a "s" would bump it up a notch in the aesthetics departments
  4. I'd like to see how long the front centre is. Slacker usually means longer and getting toolong up front ain't so lekker for the singletrack climbing
  5. why is it more comparable to a Garmin 1000? the size and form factor and capabilities are more in line with the 810.

  7. that Ferrari is genuinely fast. still early days and its only testing but the Ferrari pu sounds a lot smoother on downshift and more seamless on the upshift than last years. Signs are that they have fixed their PU integration and mapping problems of 2014
  8. so basically on par with what a Garmin 510 or 810 offers at a similar price point.
  9. MObil1 branding is also Silver.
  10. I believe FIAT announced its intention to offloaded its 90% ahare in Ferrari last year. Hence no FIAT branding
  11. Remember these guys are spending the money where it matters. Not much difference between ultegra Di2 and DA Di2 is only cost and weight.
  12. Cycling jerseys don't enforce laws. But this is a good awareness campaign.
  13. The law has to be very clear on motorist obligations. There has to be enforcement of these laws. Current even the basic traffic lawa are transgressed with impunity, especially taxi's. Until there is a political drive aainst taxi behavior traffic authorities will never gain the respect of the general motoring public since taxi's are viewed as exempt from the law. Then motorist culture of tarmac entitlement needs to change. This is best done through education and zero tolerance law enforcement. Cyclists here are not the real problem. Sure there are darwin club members but by and large cyclists, if motorists obey the law, will assist in reducing the number of road accidents since they will force motorists to drive sensibly and at safe speeds in built up areas. cyclists on highways or any road with a speed limit above 80km/hr is a no no. and cycling highways should be constructed to link cyclists to safer roads or cycle paths and parks. All this vision requires is political will to be implemented and its a win win win for everyone.
  14. Matt, I think you should consider first reviewing every thread that gets started on theHUBSA. No thread goes through with moderator approval. This will cut down on duplicate threads and weed out the trash before it starts a veld fire
  15. Are you not responsible for yourself?
  16. problem is hubbers show time and again that self regulation is not sustainable. Each time it goes over the edge then the reaction is more severe and further privileges i.e. free speech becomes less free.
  17. just a livery launch. Theres no way that car is legal. Theres a beam wing fitted and that was outlawed end of 2013 season. Front is no way compliant either
  18. No Nino Or Julien so how can it be the strongest field ever? It was stronger when Roel Paulissen and Jakob Foeglsang raced and Bart was there too.
  19. Volvo,Mercedes, BMW, Audi already have rearward and forward facing radar for vehicles. I could be mistaken but its an option on some BMW motorbikes. Whats novel about what the locals have done is that it is low power and provides sufficient run time for a bicyclist to get a decently long ride with the device active
  20. where's the HDI development riders....? more of the same. <thumbsdown>
  21. well done an please keep the price reasonable so all can benefit not just the captains of industry
  22. You keep telling yourself that in your universe
  23. Don't give a hoot about this team. I follow the exxaro developments and the sharp end not these "celebs"
  24. every 2000km....?? That would be like every 2 months.......infact if i recall thats why I sold mine. rear spokes kept breaking and the bearings wear being constantly adjusted and wearing out. I'd go for Stages or any other system not severely compromising my ride
