  1. I got a wireless unit in a box of stuff. It's not a Sigma but I am sure it can help if you want it?
  2. @barnarp, will you be keen on a build? I have two options I can throw in the ring to fit your needs and budget. Both frames are "new old stock" the Silverback was built for use on an indoor trainer and I did 23km on it when it was extremely muddy outside and the Mongoose came in a box and has stayed in the Wendy since I got it back in 2020, let's chat. 20230618_115855.heic 20230618_114102.heic
  3. 1) Yes, tubeless is a better option but you can use tubes with tire liners 2) No helmet no ride will greet you at every bike park. The mips are good yes and a good short / bib will work wonders for your butt ๐Ÿ˜. 3) XL. Yes you're literally on the line but at 104 you'll enjoy the extra bit of space the cockpit will offer on an XL 4) Choose the bike you like looking at, everything else can be upgraded
  4. Out of the options listed: https://www.cyclelab.com/product/1016916-bike-mtb-ht-alu-titan-rogue-ryde-my22 There's a gazillion reasons why one would not want to get a certain bike and there will always be something else that has something better. The point is: Everything on a bike can be upgraded and or changed so get the bike that makes you warm and fuzzy inside.
  5. The wheels will have a weight limit and because you mentioned that you're a muscular dude, my suggestion will be to get a decent 26er with loads of travel and decent wheels.
  6. I have one of those and yes, they work great
  7. I will add pedals, no hassles. I just normally complete the build without to give the buyer to either go with cleated pedals or flats. But for Henning I will add into the box
  8. I can box and send this one to you all inclusive of your budget of R8k. I doubt that you will get much else for the price: https://bikehub.co.za/classifieds/item/hardtail-mountain-bikes/654769/momsen-29er-aluminium I will pick up the courier charge
  9. Mine looks to have that ๐Ÿ˜. Like you say: if we combine we'll get the OP back on the trails
  10. Have you done an FTP test as of yet? It sounds to me like you're riding without a proper FTP logged on the platform.
  11. Isn't this the same as the one on Suntour? They're pretty expensive btw. I paid like R750 for one a couple of years ago. I bought another one recently, wait let me quickly look for it................................................................................................................................................................................................. Thumb fatigue ๐Ÿฅต๐Ÿฅฑ. Found it ๐Ÿ˜.
  12. Thank you very much, here's the dimensions from the kind folks at Trek: 40mm x 10mm, 29 mm top 50mm x 10mm, 40 mm bottom
  13. Thank you very much. I have one shop in Bloem that possibly has but they're not 100% sure just yet ๐Ÿ˜. The brand wont be an issue
  14. You know what I did to secure mine? I used a piece of wire ๐Ÿ˜.
