  1. I had endless issues with Fulgaz, the amount of crap was astronomical, it finally got sorted after lots of upgrades and app releases. it's because of that reason that I'm not even going to try MW.
  2. They rebranded: https://accounts.wahooligan.com/?utm_source=internal&utm_medium=web&utm_campaign=wahoox_weekly&_gl=1*1owpji2*_gcl_au*MTg1NTEyNjg4Ny4xNzE5MzE3Mzgw*_ga*MTk0MjAxNjI1MC4xNzE5MzE3Mzgw*_ga_Z7E3187MSK*MTcxOTMxNzM4MC4xLjEuMTcxOTMxNzQ0MS41OS4wLjA.
  3. You are correct yes, I just confirmed 😁. The Kinglake is not too bad but the most comprehensive FTP or as they call it 4DP is through Sufferfest. The only two reasons why I left their platform was because I started to get bored and their videos doesn't have any elevation gain
  4. Apologies, you are correct I just confirmed. It is on, I will consider it after the VivaLeTour24 challenge on Fulgaz starting on the 29th
  5. Hmmm, I could now that you mention it. I have a Android phone. I quite like Fulgaz and it's not R400 for some gamification avatar 😁.
  6. I use Fulgaz, I wanted to try MyWhoosh but unfortunately I went down the rabbit hole to get an Apple TV etc and MyWhoosh is not on there
  7. In Afrikaans there's a saying: "Ek gooi nou die hele appel kar om" In your current situation I will go 1x10 with a wide range 10 speed cassette (11/46 or 50) and a 34T oval in the front. This set up will shave around 600-800g off your bike in weight and will set you back around R2-3k
  8. Out of interest, measure the top tube and seat tube of both brands. If Silverback keeps to their normal "modus operandi" Then you will find the top tube slightly longer and the seat tube slightly shorter. This increases the reach of the rider.
  9. Outright fake I agree with, is that what you're referring to? I've had some pretty decent use from the non-Mainstream brands at a fraction of the cost. Stuff like chains, cassettes and chainrings are viewed as a consumable item (in my head) and the brand doesn't mean anything when compared to the miles it offers.
  10. You've not mentioned the speed but yes I do have some spares. Funny enough, I once had a similar experience with an NX rear mech, it went up perfectly and then nothing, nadda, niks when I wanted it to drop, sorted it out fairly quickly after some proper harsh words were spoken .
  11. Upgrade for both. On the Spez, depending on budget I will do the following: Swop the Reba for a better one Upgrade the drive train from NX to GX or even Shimano Remove the TLs and go to Shimano Upgrade the wheels The Spez frames are quite heavy so you won't save a lot in terms of weight but the bike will be miles better.
  12. I have a Spez frame that broke some time ago, I can see if I still have it
  13. I have two suggestions: I may be keen on the 105 in a few weeks I have an alu frame on which I was going to throw the 105 which you could possibly use if you're a 56 Either way can be beneficial, I have an alu frame and fork (tapered headset) and you have a cracked frame with parts ðŸĪŠ.
  14. May be slightly more than twice but you'll notice when it starts to bite
  15. I'm in Garsfontein and also have a few
  16. If you pick up the Pudo, I will send you a set free of charge. Send me a DM, let's chat
  17. That there is telling. If a bike doesn't "do it for you" in the "looks" department then no matter what upgrades you throw at it you will always want to tinker and change something. Off load it. PS: The market is very depressed and it is a buyers market. If you upgraded it and then listed it it will sell quicker.
  18. The bleed nipple on the caliper or the screw that you remove on the lever to insert the funnel? Either way I do have both
  19. If you want to expand your area of search I have a few in the cupboard which I've not had an opportunity to bin. I think some are riser though
  20. Wait, hang on, according to your calipers? Anyway, I have for you
  21. I've had this issue a couple of times, I agree, 3k is a bit steep, I mean heck, you can get two seperate levers for less than a K. It's like @droo mentioned: most likely a worn unit. Come to think of it, what happens if you take two pliers and bend the lever closer towards the teeth where it engages? I mean the unit is bust already .
  22. I will drill and tap the third hole to add to the alure of the mysterious frame ðŸĪŠ
  23. Fantastic, thank you very much Barry. Glad to see the frame is worth one million Zim dollas 😁. Did not expect much more, adding a paint job with decals will be an overkill
  24. I recently acquired this frame, images attached but it is an unbranded frame. The previous owner claimed it was an entry level Giant, but I am not convinced. I am not too phased about the level but I want to either do it justice or keep it for personal use at the station. Interesting facts: 1) It has a tapered headset. 2) It has a Pressfit BB30. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
