You can go straight from Strandfontien to Elandsbaai on a gravel road, but from there I do not know. I think you can ride next to the railway line on a service road from there to saldanha.

The only Shimano part on my bike is the FD. It is also the only part that needs to be adjusted regularly. My previous bike had a Sram x4 FD and it was much better than this Deore FD.

So you were in my group. I was the guy with the Namaqua shirt.

We had a nice ride in G. The Outriders did a great job to keep the pace high. We caught a lot of other groups. The last 15km our pace also dropped and the workers got very few, but there was a few tough guys in our group. Always strange how well those tired guys sprint.

I will be in G. My first PPA race in 2 years. Been a long time since I have been riding in a group, so I will a bit nervous.

I lost 2kg. Work really hard physically. (Delivering beer to to the liqueur stores with a staff shortage). Offloading 20 ton beer by hand get the sweat flowing.

Lucky you. I have never got a goodie bag with gels in it.

The 2012 model also have a Rotor 3d Crank.

I use Hammer gels. Not as sweet as GU.
