  1. You never paid attention in class
  2. Actually you are incorrect. They are opening new trails on a regular basis.A lot of them are wilderness type of trails and tough and SAFE. To one of the other comments regarding Ndedema, the smugglers have been using that route down to the valley for decades. We have never been troubled even when staying in Schoongezight where the pass hits the river. BTW if anyone is interested, the Ndedema Valley holds some of the best examples of San art and it is worth your while to book a guide. NZ has some magnificent long trails. Here is something to compete. http://rimofafrica.co.za/#top
  3. We have our fair share if hiking trails. The best in the world I believe. Here is a sample of Swellies on the third day.Protea Valley and hut, which is typical of a twelve sleeper found on many of our hiking trails
  4. My cousin from Nelson has just used them and they are infested with bugs
  5. It was a team strategy where there would always be two on him and to squeeze him to the touch line This put pressure on Lomu and eventually resulted in errors James was fine He was a remarkable man Met him on a flight to Durban when he was traveling backwards and forwards There was a bunch of school kids on the flight and when we landed thats all he was interested in as he was mobbed
  6. Reminds me of my signature...from Omar Khayyam btw Awake! for Morning in the Bowl of Night Has flung the Stone that puts the Stars to Flight And lo the Hunter of the East has caught the Sultans Turret in a Noose of Light
  7. We were living in the Botswana bush building the Airforce Base.We had MNET and we all went to watch it at my mates house and he was a Pom.The rest of the crowd were Kiwis and Poms and I was the only Saffer.I got such stick up until we started taking Lomu down. From then on it got better and better. Were all vrot by the end of the game.Drinking Zambezis. We brought it in by the truck load
  8. What a fantastic dog.My friends in Mokolodi had one.I remember when it was a puppy.
  9. That's more like the real story.
  10. Arsenal is my first choice always Beware..every dog has its day..and Arsenal has many more than yours
  11. Cool result.Ha ha....Sorry Brendan,I like you, but Arsenal comes first.
  12. I was not aware. If they stay in the valley, one presumes that it is still open for discussion.
  13. Why would MTO pull out?
  14. Whats the last one?
  15. That's not true, I like this thread very much. That's why I read it.I just get a little annoyed when our noses get rubbed in what a 3rd world sh*thole we live in. I have family and friends in NZ and would consider a move tomorrow if I had some extra cash. But its true, it's like an idyllic place, very country orientated. Almost like the Shire that's why the joke about the Hobbits. And it is in the middle of nowhere...except for Antartica of course.
  16. Ha ha ha...do people still call people dude? I am surprised you did not receive the license before you applied Anywhere where you can buy guns without a license cannot be taken seriously.
  17. I have never liked that expression "taking a dump".It's so uncouth.
  18. Its called catching up
  19. Yes sunshine, there are more people in the Johannesburg metropole than the whole of New Zealand. You are a bunch of hobbits living in a proverbial backwater of the world,no wonder you can get it in 4 days
  20. LOL
  21. My son had one.Too small for him.Its a small bike.He eventually traded it in on a BMW 800 Adventure
  22. Who cares
  23. Trickle charger on...that is a beautiful bike
  24. I would say that Rachel had a hand in that
