  1. Markram is apparently struggling with a niggle, so Cook may possibly come in for him. We can also play the extra batsman and give Morkel / Vern / Maharaj a rest. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  2. Hey I don’t make the rules dude. Rather get clarity from your local trail authority about this. Last thing all of us need is someone getting aggro for not obeying the rules and f%*cking it up for everyone. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  3. Many trails also have surveillance cameras that is set up to capture bikes from the handle bars up to try and identify rogue riders. Mounting your board (say) on your fork lower will end up with your mug splashed all over Facebook. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Pro
  4. It is not aimed at you in particular. I just see it far too often where people pick and choose which rules they wish to obey and which ones they choose to ignore. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Pro
  5. + 1 for Velcro straps here. Those mounting boards on other places than what the trail owners prescribe is making unnecessary waves for law abiding trail users. While it seems trivial to you, it is one of the conditions you agree to when signing up. If you don’t like the rule, apply for a departure. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  6. Boschendal was showing off this Morning. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  7. Simonsberg Concervancy Neversayneverendingagain Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  8. Another awesome ride in Jonkershoek this morning. Since the Topfuel is in the shop for a service, the Stumpy did duty. I just love the Stumpy on days like this. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  9. We also lost away against India. The pitches were dust bowls though. We’ll have to get another spin option or 2 if we are to be competitive with the new ICC test ‘series’. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  10. Good PR this. It is probably more about awareness than the actual reduction in water footprint. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  11. The water demands on this race is probably about 300Kl. This = the monthly allowance of 30 households. In real terms it is negligible. Edit: thanks for the link Hilton, numbers updated. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  12. Riveting cricket! I enjoyed the intensity from both teams throughout the match. Credit to the Newlands curator. This is such a good advertisement for Test cricket Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  13. This reminds me of one of my neighbours doing her nut early last year when she saw sprinklers on my lawn with water coming out of them. She almost put her BMW through my gate and jumped out screaming obscenities at my gardener. Fortunately I was home to deal with he situation. I calmly asked her if she can read, as I have 3 signs up indicating that non-potable water is used in my garden, then I asked het if she can smell as gray water has a bit of an odor. She then mumbled something and left. People see green lawn and assume the worst / simply make their own conclusions, much like when they see someone on a high end bike that does not quite fit the profile of a typical cyclist. 14. Enjoyed your rendition of GRTP. We booked the cottage (just below the loop) between Christmas and New Year with friends (earlier last year we booked over Easter as well). With the addition of a back packers at the trail center it provides even more accommodation options for GRTP riders and Cross Cape riders as well. This is fast becoming the premier mtb destination in SA. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  15. Gutted for Pandya. He showed some spunk. Now lets end this quickly and put some runs on the board. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  16. Put yourself in the ‘suspicious’ guy’s cleats and then come and read this post. Would you feel good about life being judged on your appearance and by having seemingly little means and a bit of talent? But you’re right Vettes, lets keep the country club exclusive and marginalize those who don’t fit the mold. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  17. Well played SA! I think we are well on top at this stage courtesy of some valuable runs by the tail. Even with Sunday looking like a rain affected day (we need rain!) the match is progressing well enough to get a result by Monday evening. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  18. Crikey! Let me go shave my beard and cut my hair before going on my next ride. Heaven forbid someone does not fit the profile of a typical cyclist. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  19. Huh? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  20. Jip. Its great to have more trailside shops these days. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  21. A quick Helderberg ride Followed by a mean flat white Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  22. Calm down and put down the [emoji162] ladies! What skewed my hours is about 80 hours of Cadence (i.e. no distance forward or upwards) Patch and I go back a long way and chirping is all part of the fun and in jest. If you take it seriously, you’ll last about 2 weeks on BikeHub. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  23. A busy year with lots of shortish rides with a fair bit of climbing. All done on the MTB. We’ll see how this translates into Attakwas form in a few weeks. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  24. India has been traveling much better recently and have a very professional support team looking after their players. They have no obvious weaknesses, they can bowl sides out twice and have batsmen that score big and score quickly. I think we’ll do well if we can win this series. I’m looking forward to two sides who can push each other to the limit. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  25. Forgot to add, do a list of assets and liabilities as well for each. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
