  1. Thanks, but there is only one place listed in the whole of KZN and it is fully booked. Already used that site.
  2. Evans through CP1 at 0'35 Would like to see him do well.
  3. Chavanel at 0'55 at 2nd point. Hope he can fight back in the last 11km's
  4. Impey at 2'51 at second check not good for him
  5. Sagan 2'13 down on Martin, Either Martin is in a class of his own out there or we have to wait for Froome and some others to see. Would love to see Impey come close.
  6. Sagan 34 secs back from Martin at split 1 there is an error on the tour's site for split 1, calculating time gaps off of 2/3rd place rider.
  7. What kind of cut off times can we expect with this race (per section). Im keen to try this, just not quite ready for the run.
  8. I have used Ritalin for short periods during high stress to assist in concentration, periods of about a month. It really does work and is only bad if abused I think. Other than that there a few things you can do if its short bursts of concentration you need. the quickest, but very unhealthy is a big redbull and a couple grandpa's. the two together just change how they work. PS. this was confirmed by a neurologist I know, but he advises against it.
  9. I used Cycle Fit nearly 2 months ago, the difference has been great and am starting to gain a fair amount of speed and power now that my body has adjusted to the different setup. They are very helpful, reasonably priced and don't force anything on you.
  10. Thor, loves his drives. This is in our estate so he is allowed on my lap. Does anyone know of a good pet friendly place on the North Coast (KZN), want to take my dogs to the beach in December.
  11. Ok great, Sounds easy enough. Will try sort this out and then get to the fun part of riding. Building up a bike.
  12. Thanks Stratus, That is very helpful. So you don't think that I need the carbon to wrap around the frame at all? Really looking forward to doing this.
  13. That was actually quite informative. He filled the chainstay though with epoxy, I wonder if that would be possible with the Top Tube as it is a fair size to fill.
  14. Thanks NotSoBigBen, Will have a read when I get a chance.
  15. Thanks BogusOne, seen your build and its impressive. Just want to have a bit of fun and if it doesn't work I will send it to someone to get fixed. Look forward to your PM
  16. I would like to try do it myself as a project. So advice on how to fix as well as where to buy some carbon. I am on the westrand in Gauteng if that helps.
  17. Hi All, I have a frame that has a crack on the top tube about 7cm long. I want to try fix it and build it up and see if this 29er thing works for me. Who has any guidance as to how I can fix this. Would be a fun project as I want to clean the frame and repaint as well. Sanded down to the crack as you can see.
  18. Let them ride with drips in their arms and oxygen tanks on their backs for all I care. We can place bets on who is going to have the first heart attack of the race. If they want to dope they will even if they are strictly monitored. At least it will make all the racing more exciting. And as for setting an image for children, parents should do that themselves.

  20. 26" Race King and X King protection combo PLEASE
  21. He has to be African, he is as thin as an Ethiopian/Kenyan.
  22. The way to look at it in my opinion is effort put in. It has been proven time and time again. My wife works for one of the biggest and is getting promoted constantly. I work for a large company and do a very similar job but get close to 25% more than her salary. I work a good 2-3 hours more a day and am constantly adding more value to our business as it is growing, her business wont really grow as it is the biggest in its field so she adds little value. Thus the reason why I earn more than her although we do similar jobs and she is more qualified than I am.
  23. You also have to base a persons salary on what he/she can do for the company. Im one of the so called paper pushers who gets paid too much, Not in my opinion or my managements at all. I work 50-60 hours a week and what I get paid in a month I save the company more than double based on my knowledge. I also still get round to assisting in making the business run a lot smoother. Our 2 000 labourers are paid low which I agree is not great, but if you base it on what they do and how much they make for the company, it isn't a big difference in percentage to how my salary works and they don't carry any of the stress involved in running/managing a company.
