Sad i'll be missing this one,got this little thing called Attakwas.I think doing the short loop first bringing riders back to their cars is not such a good move.Lotsa riders after Vissers might be climbing in cars and going home.

I tried believe me.I noticed at the start the SV were cruising and tried to ride across but then they got their act together and started racing.Aaa well next time try to ruffle a few feathers again but SV is the same Luke.You know what it's like when 10 guys are trying to make some racing and the rest are just sitting waiting for the finish.

Vets was boring,we may as well all cruised 1 km down the road ,turned around and all gone for the sprint.Very few guys trying to make some racing,hats off to those like shorty who try and make things interresting.

Not a rant about CWC but I previously punted Evobikes in this debate but have to say today they let me down.Phoned today to see if they were open,yes,great be there later,but like a idiot I didn't ask if the item I wanted was in stock.Stupid I presumed that if the item said 'in stock' on the website it was actually in stock.So a wasted drive I took only to find out that of the chainrings I wanted they actually had nothing in stock,website shows that all sizes to be in stock.Worse is they will only maybe get stock in 2 weeks if the supplier actually gets his stock.Yes go ahead and flame me because I presumed too much but to me Evo have just become like most of the other online shops then.

Those signs of R500 fine have been around for 20 years.Sometimes they are gone for a while and then new ones are put in place but the fact remains that certain areas of signal hill and table mountain are illegal.We mtbikers love to throw words around like 'co exist,share etc' but fact remains when there is a trail that is nice ,even if it's illegal to hell with all rules and laws we going to ride it.You only have to look at how many strava points have been created on the illegal side of signal hill to see how many mtbikers are in fact breaking the law.Almost every time I go to the blockhouse I see a group of riders riding the single track above the blockhouse and tafelberg rd.Mountain bikers have unfortunately become the same as the roadie mentality.Quick to play the victim,but hard for us to follow the rules and laws.

As much as I love that track even if it is cleared it is not up to standard for African continental champs IMO.Nothing technical and not sure if it can handle a large volume if riders.

I'm still waiting for classifieds to become flooded with all these big beck people selling their specialized goodies.Common people, I'm waiting for a bargain.Or is this just all talk as usual.

29er.Frame and fork sold for around 25K Probably worth around 10K frame alone.

I think the bike shops all realize you not serious.5 months and you don't even know what brand you want.Decide what you want,phone around for stock and go buy the damn bike or stop wasting their time. Nothing pisses a shop off more than a person haggling about how they can get it cheaper in the USA etc etc.If you can ,just go buy it then.

When I phoned I was told only certain people who stay very far away can register on Sunday.Can ASG confirm that anyone can register on Sunday.

Ffs you not serious.I get a mail saying registration only on Friday and Saturday in Paarl or Val de Vie ,not on the day of event.Most people are coming from far out,if this was known before I would have entered one of the other mtb events on the day.Any chance of refunds?
