  1. Does she still have a connection to Velocity Sports Lab?
  2. Anyone know how accurate there are with delivery predictions? Frame I want in my size is only available in June. Don’t want to wait that long.
  3. Yes had both 1st generation replaced 3 times under warranty 2nd generation only had to be replaced once and still working but it's only beef a few months
  4. Gen 1- gives lots of problems Gen 2- gives only little problems
  5. Most of the guys I know that are riding Spez have had them de restricted.
  6. Yes that is correct. He is basically shipping it to Aramex local U.K. address. The CPT number is your aramex acc number
  7. Sorry but i still believe they are for people that are lazy or handicapped and because of the nature of those riders they will be ridden a few times ,then get sold or parked in the garage.
  8. I also don't agree with the "let's get fat handicapped people out on the trail mentality" Is it really wise that my 70 year old dodgy heart diabetic spinal fusion couch potato grandpa can now get to countermand black downhill?
  9. At my lbs at the moment whenever the is a potential sale of a ebike the FIRST question customers ask is "will you un- restrict it for me if I buy one"
  10. They might all come out governed to max speed but that is easily changed.my mates who are riding them( thru working at a shop or been ambassadors ) are all been de-restricted and believe me those things fly
  11. Just wondering how these bikes are regulated on the trails.Im sure that plays a role where in some countries they ok,others they allowed on their own trails and some places they banned. For marshals and trail builders it's hard enough controlling rouge riders. Now you have to worry is that bike pedal assist, full on electric or close to motor bike. Then do you say only the specialized version is ok but the giant bike is not etc. And what if the bikes can switch between modes from pedal assist to full on motorbike?
  12. I still maintain they won't take off.As has been said,it's for the fat, lazy or handicapped. E riders will always have that stigma. As Skollie says the majority of E riders are people who take the easy way out so after a few months the bikes will simply be parked in the garage. We already starting to see some in classifieds.
  13. You guys need to stop listening to the propaganda BS the big S company is feeding you.
  14. #6 100% I believe they don't belong on the mountain but do believe we have nothing to worry about. At the moment they are only been ridden by pro's or ambassadors pushing them for the big companies OR the just plain fat and lazy. Won't take long before pro's and ambassadors go back to their normal bikes and the fat and lazy by nature just park them all in the garage never to be ridden again. So we will see them on the trail now and neth but before long you won't see any. Don't be fooled by the big companies saying it's going to take over. They all just imported a shitload of ebikes they want to get rid of. How many fat bikes we see on the trails now days?
  15. So the only person who can do this will be a non working, semi pro, half sponsored cyclist. Seen a lot of them begging for epic entries on other social media over the last few weeks. Let's see who will win.
  16. So the eventual winner will basically have 5 days to get ready for Epic. SWAK
  17. I must say I prefer a review that's written from first hand like those from Iwan as opposed to the cut and paste done here. Please don't go the Bicycling magazine way where no opinions are expressed and everything is just cut and paste or just a advert paid for by the big corporations.
  18. Was there a week ago and must say there is not much left of Grabouw after fires.I would say all single tracks are gone. The organizers would probably have to wait a week before the event to plot a route and would probably just stick to the open roads as grabouw is changing daily. Its like riding on the moon in places.
  19. 10.63kg 2 bottle cages and garmin mount. Eagle, South, guide brakes. Easy get it under 10 but in this build you can go do the epic tomorrow.
  20. If I commute I usually go N1 but I usually leave at 5am I find you have to hit N 1 before 6 am otherwise traffic is insane.
  21. A lot depends on the shop you bought your bike from.Too many shops just unbox a bike Slap everything together and on the floor. When I got my bike I striped it down an built it again. One pivot was loose and a few bearings had no grease. These issues should have been picked up by the shop I got bike from. I've found this across brands and shops over the years so check everything yourself. The lefty is more like an upgrade free of charge to customer but Omnico don't have the stock yet to do the upgrade. SB
  22. I'm not 100% convinced on eagle yet.I know when you spend that much money you obliged to say it's fantastic. There have been a couple of times on a ride when I'm grinding the 42 and change to the 50 I find it's just too small a gear and just spin. I feel the gap is too big and perhaps sram should have offered a 10/46 or 10/48 instead.
  23. No pics it doesn't exist. I must admit cannondale caught the big S with their pants down with this bike. Awesome machine Puts my old s works to shame
  24. Yawn Mtb racing is becoming like those wife swop parties of old, where you threw your car keys in the plate at the start of the evening.Same old faces( male and female) just constantly stopping partners for different races. Boring
