hectic. a real eye opener!

Long storey short. Rear wheel needed axle replacement. Supplier provided incorrect part. Without asking they arranged a spair rear wheel for the weekend so that I could get out on the trails! Well done guys.

2015 is my year for the Epic!

Loved the ride. 1st time over 70km's on a mtb event. Defenitely in for next year. Already planning long weekend away with the family. Better luck next year udxcob!

Apparently storm warnings have been issued in Cape Town. So glad I am going to Knysna where the sun's gonna be kicking it!

A few questions: Does one have to register on the Saturday - or can one collect race number and goodie bag on the Sunday? Where are the Waterpoints?

Very poorly organised indeed. I still feel like I havent finished because there were just too many cars, runners and general traffic to get to the finish safely. Very chaotic indeed. The 28km false start was an absolute joke! On the bright side I really enjoyed the great Cape weather and fantastic trails.
