I use to watch an anime called Samurai 7 back in the day. Its based on the Kurosawa's Seven Samurai. So subsequently watched the movie as a result. I never did get into any of his other stuff.

The original Ong Bak was cool. It was the first Tony Jaa movie I watched and then I watched some of his titles from the 90's as a result. Mostly drenched in cheese and terrible acting but man the stunts and fight scenes are cool. The movies just weren't the same after he went Hollywood though. I suppose Ong Bak was probably a blockbuster too but it wasn't Hollywood. Haven't heard much of him lately though.

Huge fan and I think the show is highly underrated. Beneath all the absurdity and toilet humor is some brilliant writing. The show is about as far from reality as it gets yet it somehow tackles real issues through some pretty creative perspectives. Like when Rick turns himself into a pickle just so he can get out of family counseling. Beth puts his antidote in her bag and takes the family to counselling without him as punishment. After being washed into the sewer as a helpless pickle he somehow manages to construct some weird, cockroach, rat, cyborg, mutant exo-suit. Then slaughters hundreds of rats as he makes his way through the sewers on his way to counselling so he can get back his antidote. When he arrives. Tiny, blood drenched, mutant pickle rat Rick waltzes in and climbs the couch to join the family counselling session. Great games. Portal 2 is in my personal top 10 greatest games of all time. If you haven't played it. Play it now. The puzzles force you to think outside of the box. You need to get quite creative with solutions and when you figure it out you can't help but applaud the developers. Probably the most satisfying game to finish too, addictive, and some great storytelling to boot. I think I mentioned it a few pages back but I'm about halfway through with this game. I just love it. It's quite 1 dimensional. With most of its attention focused on the game's atmosphere. 'Last episode Gendry was in' Which turns out to be season 3! I skipped through his last episode and found the scene I was looking for. It won't be the first time the progeny of incest will be crowned. Anyways back to Gendry. I think he will show up when Arya arrives. It will be nice to see them reunited. SO! I intentionally stayed out of this thread till I had a chance to watch GoT. Which I did last night. Man! There really is nothing else worth watching. My guesses so far. Its no coincidence Jorah ended up at the Citadel while Sam Tarly figures out how to kill white walkers. Remember when Daenerys told him to get his ass cured? Princess Shireen Baratheon was cured of the disease and if I remember correctly dragonglass or Valyrian steel had something to do with it. Jorah asks Tarly if Daenerys had arrived in Westeros yet. I don't think its shortsighted of our newly crowned queen to be more concerned with dragons than the undead right now. Especially since she is a much closer and more pressing threat. Some **** is about to go down before winter settles in. Also I've seen that dagger in the book Sam stole from the off limits section. But where? Who does it belong to? And what happened to all the other Valerian blades? Off the top of my head. Joffrey's blade - What happened to it again? It was one of the two Tywin had forged after house Stark went poof. Jaime has the other sword. Was it given to Tommin when he was crowned? If so where is it now that he's dead too? Brienne has one. So does does Jon Snow. Thank the Gods. Sam stole his dad's sword. And that's the list as far as I can remember.

I bushed this one off as one of those b rated titles for casual fps gamers. What Medal of Honor was to Battlefield. Then I wasched some of the gameplay videos. Witnessed it rise in popularity and now I want to buy it. Doesn't seem to be too focused on team play, strategy, mechanics or even eye candy. But it's clearly addictive and very well priced. And anything that fun that doesn't burn a hole in your wallet sounds like great value to to me. I might just buy it. Are there any confirmed local servers?

Its beautifully melancholy. Remember being a kid on a sunday night? Carte Blanche shows up and you get this harsh reminder in the pit of your stomach that its school tomorrow. Playing this game reminds me of that feeling. Sad. But beautiful. Notice how the scale of everything is exaggerated to highlight just how somber the world can seem though the eyes of a child.

You just reminded me to buy a copy before the sale ends so besides the beta I have not played Dice's latest addition to the series. I'll only start playing this once its delivered. I am a bit of an old boy when it comes to Battlefield though. Bad Company, BF3 (Premium was definitely worth it here) and Battlefield 4. I never bothered with premium for the 4th edition. It was a disaster of a launch and I bought it because of the masterpiece that battlefield 3 was. It did get better over time with updates and I've wasted many hours enjoying it. But never bothered parting with my cash for premium. The new one? Lets see...
