  1. "Affirmative Shopping Stopper" or ASS for short.
  2. Just to make sure you didnt miss it, one pick is posted twice...
  3. In Witbank we have even greater sunsets. The clouds shimmer as sun's rays reflect off the smoke and pollution. Unluckily, no one has been able to catch a photo of it yet, because we're coughing so much we cant focus the camera. Nice pics, not jealous at all.
  4. a) Check wheel diameter setting on speedo b) Enjoy the ride Avg speed indicates your fitness and the difficulty of the terrian over the distance, so I use it as an indicator as well, but does a high avg speed stick a smile on my face...no. Conquering that bloody hill, yes! Speeding down the mountain, hell yes.
  5. Yes looks great hey. Welcome to our side!! But yes you can do both and class yourself, thats why they call it a BI-cycle. Must say I got pretty excited when I saw this topic under the photos thread....
  6. Yip, he changed the face of the pop industry (pardon the pun). But seriously, when I went through my mix CD in the car this morning, three songs are Michael Jackson covers, just shows the influence he's had. One by David Cook (think it might have been Chris Cornell originally), one by Alien Ant Farm, one by Fallout boy. RIPIdeJongh2009-06-26 00:29:45

  10. JZ is requiring his ministers to complete performance appraisels. I think Id rather buy the idea of roadies waving.
  11. Mampara, makes sense, thx.
  12. No not angle of the seat tube. When you set your bike up your ensure that the seat is as level as possible, but as the back compresses the frame slightly rotates backward around the bottom pivot...or does it...hmmm....maybe I should get back to work as well...
  13. Yes saddle doesnt sag compared to BB, but during initial compression does the seat angle not change a bit? iow should your seat angle on a DS be different that on a HT? Or is it too little to make a difference?
  14. Oh yes and we tend to argue about everything.
  15. Bad things to good people hey... All the best to him, sure he'll be back up there before we know it.
  16. yes yes, let all obey the road rules, or just go off road. (havent had my coffee yet)
  17. Well then in the same line, whats tuffer - arm wrestling or knitting a sweater
  18. Hell yeah
  19. In our group rides the roadies show up ready to work on their fitness (probably why I cant keep up on the hills), whereas in the mounties group there are some okes just wanting to get out, some doing it for the first time (well thats what they say eveytime) and some okes training for the next race. Not worse, not better, just very different. Like cbrunsdon said more for less, very easy to go out and enjoy yourself. To me roading always seeming more serious.
  20. gtracing dont come and spoil our arguing fun by posting truth and logic. Thats not the hubber way...
  21. Cape storm works well.
