    Tend to agree. I still ask myself, why, why, why ,why test a back rider that finishes a stage an hour prior to the days' cutt-off......WHAT IS THERE TO GAIN FOR ANYONE??? What a waste of money and time....it's just plain stupidity...focus on elite licensed riders...

    Well, at least you will still be an official Epic finisher for 2013. Once the process is done and dusted, and Barry is banned.....I am sure the Epic admin guys will contact you and advise that your result of 384th is void and that you will only be listed as a solo finisher.

    I am one that had lots to say yesterday about Barry......I said that he looked like a bodybuilder and probably took the steroids for bodybuilding purposes and that it is a real pity that he (a body builder) had to be tested during the Epic......which is not great for our sport (cycling).....and I still stand by my view that he was targeted by UCI due to his phisique (sorry Tumbleweed, disagree with you on this one). Must have been shitty to go and pee in a cup after that horrible EPIC stage 1......that was just a real k@k day, with all the frieken sand, bike pushing, walking, the heat and dust!!! Big up to you, Barry, for coming "clean". Good luck!

    OK, if that is him in the pic, then me thinks he did not reportedly take the steroids to improve his cycling..... .....also with a body like that, me thinks he was targeted at Epic for a test!!! He's frieken huge!!! Was he doing Epic to cut excess fat for SA Bodybuilding Champs!!!????

    Coming in at 384th, I guess Barry would NOT want to do the Epic again!!! Even if he isn't banned!! No thanks to him, me and my partner still stays 300th!!! Darn, thought we might move up 1 position!!!!

    RIP Burry........I had so many emotions going through me last night when I heard the sad news......my heart goes out to Cherise, after the tough year she had last year, this IS the worst start to 2013!!! She will be in my prayers. We lost a GREAT SA cyclist!......AGAIN while training on the road!! I hate the road.....

    Jeesh, hectic.....I know of way too many allergic guys riding without any meds.....#NOT WISE!! Just, this weekend during an Kinetic Gear Adventure Race near Heidelberg 2 girls got stung and had to be taken to hospital immediately......thanks for sharing!
