  1. What are the specs of the Boobars? Rise, sweep...etc
  2. Thats a great idea. Will be sure to investigate this. Thanks
  3. Yes, still stay in Germiston and will be sure to be in contact to come check it out sometime. Thanks a mil
  4. This whole thing actually annoys me because like I mentioned, we really are not big TV watchers. Maybe 1hour a day in the week, a movie on the weekend and some sport and it grips me to pay for so little. The Streaming option as mentioned may be cheaper but I then think to myself if we will even watch enough to make it worthwhile. We hardly watch any series, actually non at all....I have not even seen one episode of Game of Thrones, bad right? We watched one season of Walking dead and some of season two then it got real boring and we didn;t watch it again. On the other side, DSTV is nice to fill the void when we finally sit down after bathing kids, dinner all that stuff and nice to watch some Rugby or UCI when it's one. It's a tug of war and would like to get rid of it all together but really don't think I can.
  5. Ja, hear what you saying. We only watch what is on of course as that is what is on and those are the choices you have. Freedom to watch what you want is pretty cool I must say
  6. So, R99 for data, 4mb ADSL for R250, then another R250 for a telephone line. Then 5$ monthly subscription, about R70 which is then R669 a month where dstv is R800 a month, R131 saving doesn't seem a lot or am I missing something here? Plus a once off R700 for the deposit and anther R700 for that BBC thing, R1400 outlay
  7. It's a proper modem that can take an ADLS line and have PC's connected to it but yes, we use a cellphone dongle with data to connect to but just our phones. So, I would need an adsl line with min 4mbps and loads of data then as Stretch mentioned?
  8. Thanks. I am not really in touch with the tech world so what do I need to get this BBC iplayer and Netflix? We don't have any ADSL lines or anything, just a simple wifi modem that we use a USB through. Can I watch via the Tely or does it have to be a PC screen?

    Flat pedals

I have been a flat convert for a while now and have not even thought of going back to cleats. I ride with skate shoes but desperately would like some 5.10s but seeing as thought i bought a Giant Trance Advanced recently and some new shoes for her, i cant buy squat for a long time now, not complaining though -
  11. Had a few rides now on the Magic Mary and Rock Razor combo and i must say, they awsome. The RR is described as a semi slick but when you corner those big side knobs really dig in. Its the only tires i have had so far that i can even hear them really digging into the ground, sounds weird but you can hear and feel them digging in for grip, its awsome.
  12. I didn't ride up that brick road. I came out of that single track section and to the left is the start of section that is part of the downhill course with thise jumps. Past the start of that is the brick road but i came out the single track section, wnet straight (crossing over that big climb that is now not part of the new green route) up that uphill then you turn slightly left and there is a bump/jump there (not that you can jump it because you going up. At that point you can go left, down past the brick road but i turned right which takes you on some trail and eventually you come out onto the brick road but way up sort of middle. You can go right up the top half of yhe brick road but i saw a sign straight ahead that said blue/green so crossed over the brick road onto that section and some where further on that section i saw a sign that said Henry :-). Shot, Yafta ia getting a little easier but still not easy..lol
  13. Afrer you come out by that big climb and go over to that uphill section then there is a sign to the left to come back down or right which said blue/green route that leads yout to the middle of that brick road and then you go straight over it and do a nice section and then i saw a sign that said henry, im sure it said henry and you then come back onto the green route that leads you to that big jump we were talking about.
  14. Beautiful day at Thaba. Did Samuel and Yafta today and managed to do Yafta in one go but coasting in between. Also managed to get onto Henry today, it was lekker but hard work. Nice downhill section then a sharp up, then repeat this for a while and then get to a section where there is just boulders. stared at it for a while until I walked over them to get onto a ride able path again...good fun. I managed to get in some exercise in the week but note to self, no leg exercises on a Friday...eina...hahaha
  15. Alot of mine come out upside down when uploading with the phone and think it's got to with which side i turn the phone horizontally. So if i turn it horizontally to the left, they come out wither upside down or right way up, cant recall which is the right way.
  16. Wouldn't even think remotely about doing Thaba on an SS...my 11sp is just enough to see me though the green route with Yafta and Samuel...with lots of breaks in between.
  17. Bought with you kids education money....
  18. Sweet. Give me some time to build up some fitness, just got back on the beast after 2 weeks being sick. You know how slow I am...lol
  19. Barrys point and Genet part of the Blue route? Where is it and how tough is it?
  20. Entered...for the win :-)
  21. She's' now in all the Appropriate threads I think: Trance Advanced
  22. Well Done Uni. I must get out to BRB sometime. That drop, was it big?
  23. Beautiful morning at Thaba Trails. Today i conquered Yafta, did it all without stopping but still coast slowly between sections to catch my breath :-). Theres a switchback berm at the forest section at the end thays suoer awsome if you rail it lekker. Trying to nail it wothpugjt feathering the brakes.
  24. Will make sure i bring the full body armour kit, full helmut and some air bags for the bike...hahahaha..god forbid the bike gets broke.
  25. What will happen after i take the jump is high fives, smiles, gloating, admiration....etc...will then teach you how to do it....lol
