    Recently watched two movies: Arrival amd check point. I cannot get that time back in my life, its gone for good, wasted. Biggest load of bollacks ever. Check point was terrible, the worst acting i have witnessed and the story was just as bad. Arrival was so slow that im surprised they arrived at all!

    Ordered a stem from CWC on special on Monday and arrives today with a note. Such a lekker personal touch, good job CWC. I'm sure others got this too. The stem is a 45mm 1.5 inch that I am going to run with a shim to fit my overdrive 2 fork that AmpAndy is helping me out with - Stella.

    Googled that already . No, don't have any wood working tools. I don't work with wood and bought this cabinet online. I have a hacksaw and a tree saw..lol

    There are lots of ads by the dealer in question but I just pass through them and look at the occasional one that catches my eye out of interest and then move on. It's really not a big deal and can simply pass through them with a few clicks.

    We took the plunge and cancelled our DSTV subscription and have been without it since 1 Feb. It has been a good transition as we have a lot of movies and a few series on a hard drive and bought some older blue ray movies for the toddler that were R40 each and all has been good. Can honestly say that DSTV is a waste of money and you can make due without it as there are many other ways to get all the shows you want to watch.

    Biscuit, tenon, seasoned...sounds like a recipe to me..haha We bought this jewellery cabinet a while back and it came in pieces that you put together. As I was assembling it, the alignment of everything wasnt 100% and twisted as you mentioned but that gap was small and now its just pulled apart.

    Whats the best way to fix this? I cannot push the two parts together to close the gap as it doesnt seem to close all the way. The pictures uploaded skew...thus is the top lef part of the cabinet.

    Yeah, I guess I assume that sellers would do as I do in marking as sold or delete the item but should have known they are out there amongst the "normal thinking" living....lol

    The other thing that annoys me is the one hit wonders, as I like to call them. They enquire if the item is still available (if is was not available then it would say sold or have been deleted), you say yes it is and then nothing. Never from hear from them again ever. Why ask if you have no intentions of viewing or buying?

    Jislaak, those annoy me. It's either used or new. It's not even "like new". If it is used even just once, then it is used and should be marked as used with a nice explanation on the item and it's usage.

    Now that I am a "master" at the fork service (lol), I am considering servicing my fox float x shock. I can get the seals at the same place I bought my fork seals. Quick question: Do I need fox float fluid (the blue stuff) or will the 20wGold also work in the shock?

    I just recently applied some copper grease to the back of the pads on my car as well as very little on the pad "ears" and it made a big difference. They also used to squeal like a seal bit now there is only a very slight squeal and im a few days in and all good.

    I was surprised myslef when i saw the ferrodo pads but also rather chuffed they not crap ones. Will at some point check the rear but for now its alot better so happy with that. Thanks for the advice.

    The inlaws have stored their dinning room suite at our place and want to sell it. It is knysa blackwood i am told and it great condition with all 8 chairs as well as the wall unit. The cushioning is a little pap and will need some attention but perfectly able to site comfortably. Any idea what i could sell this set for?
