Get one, they are so awsome. You will use it all the time. As mentioned above, Lyne and Giant amd great options and affordable with less maintenance. I went from a reverb to a giant and couldn't be happier. The reverb is expensive to buy and experience to maintain. Sure, it's nice but too expensive and nit as reliable, from my experience.

Aaahh, thanks Bobbo_SA. I tried to add this file manually and got a "write protect" error and then i realized, our company has installed bit locker on our pcs preventing downloading anything onto am external device unless you encript it. The Fenix is too small to encrypt so i need to use another pc to load this file...aaarrggg....i dont have another pc.

Pardon my ignorance, but where do i find this uldate file to put in the directory?

Thats small. Its starts downloading the files then just says theres an error downloading

Typicall how big is a software update? Wanted to download a different watch face but have to uldate the software and when i try i keep getting an error. Doing this on Garmin express on the laptop.

Quick question: On my Fenix 3 HR, the dials (markings) of the first quater are illuminated (From the 12:00 to the 15:00) and the rest are not. From the box and pics on the net, this seems normal. Why is this? Pic attached, if you can make it out

I know what you mean, it sure is big and bold and I have relatively small wrists so it does look a little bit large but once your eyes accustom to it, you really forget about the size and enjoy all the things it does (I have only played with it for a few minutes). Besides, I have seen people wear much larger watches, it's the in thing...lol

I have anted one since they came out. Saved some cash, sold some parts and pulled the trigger. It's really beautiful. It's big and bold and will take some time to get used. I'm almost scared to wear it....lol

Well I got up at midnight to see the prices from the various stores. Then fell asleep and saw Easybike had the Sapphire HR at R8099 and it was the cheapest of them all and I thought is was a good deal so bought it. Luckily I was still groggy and tired and not thinking straight...hahahaha

Lol, as soon as I saw the Fenix 3 thread pop up, I immediately thought to myself "Mmhh, I wonder if that Bok chap is asking if I got one"...hahaha So the answer is...Hell yeah...I sure did pull the trigger. Have some buyers remorse but I'm sure when it arrives that feeling will disappear:-). It got posted by the local post office so hopefullyy end of the week but probably early next week.

I like corona a lot. It's really nice but far too expensive only have it once in a blue moon. First time I saw the SOL and there was only one left so took it. also nice.
