  1. You do realize, of course, that those probably aren't really Mavic Cosmics, right?
  2. Pack your clothes and the rest of what is needed out the night before. Mix bottles and put on bike previous night. I find your save at least 15 minutes in the morning not having to look for shirts and bibs and what not. In turn, you can wake up 15 minutes later. I'm up at 4am and out the door at about 4:20.
  3. Stolen bike, that's been partially stripped for parts. The pics are clearly taken in a township somewhere.
  4. Firstly, OP is charging a bit much for the wheels, I'll give you guys that. Secondly, don't diss the quality of the wheels. I have numerous friends that ride Chinese carbon wheels and they are not fun riders at all, races are won on them. They are strong. If you are not a TdF sprinter and able to detect 0.005m flex in the wheel, you will NOT feel any difference in these wheels compared to the expensive options. Don't kid yourself.
  5. If you paid Pina prices then chalk it up to experience. If you paid Chinarello prices no harm done to your pocket. It remains a bike that will serve you for years.
  6. Do riders need one of these? http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2009/06/bttf_time_machine_ebay_lead.jpg
  7. 1) Never had a coach 2) Has sub 3 Argus. Very little people with only 2 years in their legs manage a Sub 3 Argus. My advice is to ride for another year or two at your own, ride as much as you can and see how far you can get on your own, and THEN go see a coach.
  8. Or, cut a small piece out of a tube, and superglue it over the hole on the inside. Or even contact if you have time for it to set.
  9. Same experience earlier this week. Wanted to buy a bike. Was first to comment on the ad, messaged the seller and even called him and had a lengthy chat indicating that I would buy the bike. He said he is ok with it but that he was in the bank at that moment and would call me back later. All good. Get a PM from him later saying that someone in his area was also interested and would be coming to look at the bike. I asked how does that work if we pretty much had a verbal agreement and I called him first? No, boxing and sending a bike is a lot of trouble and that "I'm sure you understand". Two years ago a friend and fellow hubber died (drowned). I knew his wife from school and helped her to sell his bike and other bits. I boxed it up and mailed it to someone on the other side of the country. So no, seller, I do not understand. Later in the day he removed the ad (obviously the local guy took it), and hasn't said a word since. Swak.
