I agree.... Every shop / shopper has had some or other experience.... perhaps the bigger the shop gets...the larger the % of "issues" become...and thus our perceptions about it! One should really look at the percentage of good vs bad experiences....1 bad experience in 100 good ones is very different from 1 in 1000, not so?

if an item is on sale...and you order and it is then out of stock...sure, you'll wait a bit longer....BUT you still get the benefit of the sale price, not so? I'd rather wait a bit longer with the benfit of the sale price than cancel my order and getting something else at the higher price! What's the problem....

The one aspect that I found 100% better - is the way my 29'er handles ruts....I was **** scared of them before...due to some really spectacular dismounts!! Nowadays, it seems much less of an issue...
