Yeah, you are quite correct..unlike dogs...you have VERY little control over cats...they are wanderers (even when neutred)... I have a similar problem...but with a neighbouring cat coming into our house and eating MY cat's food every night... basically have to walk OVER me sleeping (via bedroom window) to get to the food...but he still does it! It pisses me off - purely because IF that cat decide to one day start "Marking his teritory" in my house...i'll be screwed! Cat piss smells only seconf to scunk piss... so - battle is on...but how do i do it?...I don't even know which neighbour the cat belongs to... Good luck...

Old thread...BUT plenty of useful truths to take home... I've been doing Bodyweight training...it's a simplified form of most yoga techniques (without the spiritual mumbo jumbo). Like bootcamp - without the weights etc. - using proper body excercize techniques. In short - I was bit overweight, 42ys old, and always suffered from lower back pains on long (40km+) rides... Yoga improves your core muscle strenght, suppleness (I can now bend down and touch the floor easily where previously I could not do so for even 10sec!). It has improved my upper leg strenght as a bonus...I can climb much better now... It DOES NOT make you any fitter than cycling will do..so don't think it will substitute for TITS (Time in The Saddle). Overall... highly recommended as a supplement to your cycling routine.. PS: all that was commented here by others = true!!

I have a Magishine bike light.... I use that more for "off-the-bike" purposes...i.e. checking out whats happening when dogs go ballistic etc.etc. Pity they can't make that into a proper flashlight....
