  1. No doubt, the pedal isn't unbreakable, but they are very strong. I have hit rocks with mine and they still going strong.
  2. I agree they both entry level pedals. Being caged in, to me, defeats the principle of the eggbeater. You only have 2 entry points, and the mud can build up, which is why I would never recommend those to anyone. Go proper eggbeater. Best pedal ever.
  3. I wouldn't touch the smarty's or the candy's either. They not eggbeaters really. I use the eggbeater ti's and a mate uses the eggbeater sl's. No problems with those babies. cyfermaster2009-05-06 06:44:14
  4. Haven't done anything to mine and I've been using them for about 3 years now. Given, I didn't ride hectically in year 1.
  5. Eggbeaters for the win. Love mine!!
  6. That gate has big gaps in it. You don't need to climb over it, but through 1 of the gaps, thus not damaging anything.
  7. I'd rather just pump my tire before each ride. although I generally don't need to. UST rims with UST tires rock.
  8. It's R600 if you download the pics. R700 if you want them to send it.The pics look awesome. Only problem is that you can't see a bigger version of them on the site.
  9. This way a hubber still get's a bit of discount. the hubber doesn't if he simply pays for advertising....
  10. I'm dead keen to do this, except April is a bad month. Any chance you'll do it again in May or June?
  11. I don't think the concern he has is on the service of the shock, just the fact that only 1 guy can service them. It's quite strange in business to have such a "key man" dependency. I agree it would be a good idea to train up another mech.
  12. Yip. I saw a guy from Germany riding with Rohloff's.
  13. I hate it when people litter like that. It's not hard to put the used Gu in another pocket.
  14. What price did you get from Time Freight? Who did you deal with there?

  18. Teams of 2 for me please.
  19. I started using Squirt at the Sabie X last year. It's the bomb. Lubed it up the night before, and then again before the stage started. Day 3 was hecitc in terms of weather and I applied a bit more lube during the stage once. It works really well in the wet as well.
  20. I look just like one. you can cuddle me. It's awesome to see that people are so caring for nature.
  21. Sorry man. We were moving floors at work on Friday and I didn't have net for the afternoon. Did you manage to get the software, or do you still need it?

  24. You can't download it as far as I know. tried a few weeks back. Was a mission to find it on the net. I did find my CD. Where in JHB are you craig? I'm sure you can borrow mine.
  25. Mine are working like a dream. Handle well. Seem quite strong as well, although I thought the sidewalls would be quite soft when I looked at them. Been pleasantly surprised. Like mark says, they shed the mud well. My wear has been good, although they do wear quite quick on the road.
