  1. It's a Colnago Bititan Titanio. Google it a bit. Is far as I know, quite nice and collectable. Quite rare I "think". But I'm sure some of the other guys on here have more/better info tan me. Check out these. https://www.steel-vintage.com/colnago-titanio-bititan-classic-titanium-bicycle-detail https://www.steel-vintage.com/colnago-titanio-bititan-classic-art-decor-titanium-bicycle-detail
  2. No . . . that's nothing special, I'll take it of your hands
  3. A box with some dog poop is worse than an empty box.
  4. Both with pedals, both with motor, neither is a bicycle.
  5. You did what you had to do. You had no choice NICE!!
  6. Wanking is also "loads" of fun . . . . But it's not the real thing. Just like E-bikes.
  7. E-bikes makes guys feminine? I like your thinking.
  8. Calculus deffinatly listened when they asked about the ultimate Ti frame. Very well done!! I'm just getting my stocking and peace to go and withdraw some money at the bank.
  9. You sure are a well posted and well respected BikeHub member and contributor. But does it do any good to knock someone else's bike purchase about which they are clearly very stoked?
  10. I like it, and nearly bought it a while back. But, then I'll have to swap my fork with its carbon steering tube for one with Aluminium steering tube!! That's just not going to happen.
  11. Try Woodstock Cycle Works. Nils can perform miracles
  12. Thanks for the excellent write-up DJR.! Wonderful to see what you guys have done with the Alpina. Very inspirational. Well done. Now I want to rush home this evening and go and give some TCL to my Le Jeune.
  13. Had an early appointment before work with the physio this morning to asses the progress getting rid the Plantar Faciitis. Some serious pressing, rolling and needling happened. I must be a "sissy". Not pleasant to visit the physio. Back at work I was walking like I had the mother of all gout attacks. My staff and even some of my clients had good time teasing and ripping me. Hope to be back to running soon.
  14. To say that is custom furniture that was built in that clip is not so accurate. Let the autosaw do something like this. http://www.brandimpakt.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/09/Awesome-Woodworkers-Workbench.jpg http://cdn.goodshomedesign.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/Awesome-Rustic-Furniture-6.jpg
  15. Interesting. I stand corrected. That does not look like a 44 mm head tube.
  16. I am speaking under correction. But AFAIK. The 1st Contraband Rogue Frames had a strait 44mm bore head tube. Then the assembly for a tapered steering tube is as Eddy showed If it is later Contraband Rogue with the tapered head tube, one uses bearings that drop into the cup already in the frame. Here is a pic of mine with the tapered head tube.
  17. On the PC. Open the activity. Click "Edit this activity" Pen in the left bottom on PC view. Under "Matched Runs" Change the shoe or bike. The Drop-down under the "Tags" tab and Above the "photos" block. Save changes
  18. Ciprofloxacin (Ciproxx is just one of the many trade names. Original Ciprobay) It is one of the class Fluoroquinolones (Quinilones) antibiotics. Been assosiated with Tendinopathy and tendon rupture. There is a bit of controversy about it, but that is what I was taught. I would avoid exercise, especially anything involving weights. Take a rest, you will benefit from it and stomach bugs normally does not take to long sort out. Most other classes antibiotics are not an issue with the exercise in itself, as mentioned by Pulse & SeaBee Just my 2cent. Hope it helps.
  19. I so desperately want to slap a set of drop bars on my rigid Salsa El Mariachi. But I'm afraid of going through the whole financial exercise of bars and shifters and brakes and drive-train. Then in the end the fit is not good as the frame is not designed for drop bars and the top tube might be to long. I'm already running a 50mm riser stem with my flat bars.
  20. Congrats with the running this weekend. I had a nice 10km trail run Saturday morning. BUT there after not such a good revelation. Ran into a Running problem. Been having discomfort under my heels since about Xmas. Thought I'm just a "poefter" and I must just HTFU. Saturday after the run I sat down and did the Internet self diagnosis thing. Seems if I have a classic textbook Plantar Fasciitis Classic case of just to much to soon. Asked some advice form doctor and physio friends. So rest and stretching seems to be way to go. Does not feel if I need to go the medication route. Questions I need to know. How long must I be off running? When will I know it is safe to start again? How should I restart once I do? Like back to 2-km runs or what? Any input form you guys would be good. Especially regarding getting back to running. I think my bikes will like this. PS: Having a job where I stand all day does not help, so now I'm wearing my Croccs. It is the softest shoes I have.
  21. From my little experience, and this is just non-scientific, observation. Running helps for cycling. Cycling does sweet nothing for running. How did I get to this? I have two serious runner friends, guys who do things like the Puffer, Fish River Canyon (running the canyon in one day), various desert marathons and obviously Comrades and the likes etc. Currently my one friend is logging about 120 to 150 km a week. Both of them have on occasion got on a mid level bicycle and rode 100 km or did a 3 day cycling tour or rode for a team who needed a replacement rider in a race. No cycling training in most cases. No, non of them won the race. They were about mid-field But They did not die. Mostly complained about the saddle, nothing about the legs. Yes, I still cycled faster than them, and "looked" better the next day. I do consider myself an ok cyclist. BUT . . . . This is the same as me getting of my bike and jogging something like measly half marathon. There is NO WAY IN HELL I will make it (before I started jogging) Even at my best ever cycling fitness I could not even jog 10 km (possibly not even 5 km ) and not be dead and possibly sustain serious injury. When I started my jogging in October, doing just 2km, I could about not walk the next day. I would limp over to my bike, but once on, no pain or nothing in the cycling muscles. My riding buddies did not even know I started jogging till I got of the bike at the end of rides, limping to my fridge for a beer. Seems if so much extra muscles is used for running. Maybe its the pounding effect. . I can ponder the reason for this at length. Others may have the answer as to why. That is just my observation. (2cent)
