  1. Man . . . that is so beautiful . . (I hate you)
  2. I think they should make is much, much, much, harder. So freaking tough that: 1.) those who says it's not tough enough and 2.) those who says it is the toughest can both be happy.
  3. We are going about this very wrong. Rather than blogging in a thread about our dismay. There should be a march to the SA SRAM Agents HQ Rallying people who have nothing to do with cycling is encouraged Pangas and sticks and bricks must be swung. (Bonus points for a swinging a cactus) Lots of dancing and singing to help team spirit. Cars (of people totally uninvolved) , tires and the building must then be torched. After this wonderful social activity, everyone can go home and chill over a braai or watch some TV. Flame suit on. Have a good Friday. Cycle safe this weekend.
  4. Just out of interest? ( I might be wrong) Is there not a trend in this Ar$eho!e way of thinking. SRAM (and all under them) Specialised (have never been available to SA through CRC as far as I can remember) Garmin? Are they not all American Companies? (although manufacturing is elsewhere) Shimano, Campagnolo, Hope, ext. Japanese, and European companies not doing this BULLS&!T mentality.

  8. I did not even see any Swift, Pyga or Yeti in the pics . . . The Cotic frames is all it need to be a very cool shop.

  12. Will be very interesting how this all pans out. They came looking for trouble and they got them some of that!! This issue of the attackers being found dead how many meter away and the other one ever further away is not really strange or suspect. Stabbed in the stomach will very rarely result in instantiations death. Many cases of robbers shot several shots in the stomach who still ran for a city block and had time to dump their weapon somewhere. Being full of adrenaline it was very likely that they would go some distance after the encounter with the knife. The running probably did not help to keep the intestines in place.
  13. No Man!! Boasting, to us mortals, with a ride like that, is just downright evil of you!!
  14. Got a bit carried away while shopping. So I really Hope that these will look even better once on the bike.
  15. With Zuma doing his best to shaft the Rand . . . . . This arrived to give me some Hope. . . .
  16. I had two BIG CRC orders ready. Was keeping an eagle eye on the Pound/ZAR for the last month. So glad I decided to pull the trigger last week. Just missed this newest ZUMA f-up. Will be having my goodies by Friday.
  17. Yes please. And Thanks As I understand it, the fabric cover is in-bedded in the natural rubber the saddle is made of? Always wondered if it would get smooth with use.
  18. Thanks. I have read reviews that mention that the fabric covering on the Brooks Cambium is very grippy and according the reviewer it "destroyed" his Lycra bib. One can not slide around on the Cambium like on the leather Brooks saddles. I want to use it on my gravel grinder bike for long distances, but will be "die moer in" if it ruins my Assos bib.
  19. Is that a Brooks Cambium on the Singular? If so, elaborate on it please. I like them . . . but have my reservations
  20. No mention of price? Mr. Vermaak's bank account must be the real winner here.
  21. Nice bike! Very nice. Yup. Something like . . . with the whole frame also silver/metallic The frame is already silver (metal) . . . and painting it is NOT an option. The stem I want is only available in silver. Raw billet machined aluminium So now I am no at either a silver(metal) or a black Thompson seat post.
  22. I love this Got your finished build last week and already a new one in the pipeline . . . Silver Bar would be cool but I already have a nice carbon Easton riser bar. Silver brake levers & calipers . . . I looked for them. The options are limited and very expensive. Like XTR, top end SRAM or Hope. No SLX brakes in silver for my budged.
