  1. Does anyone know the start times for tomorrow? I presume QS will be off last? The official site indicated 18h55 kickoff with estimated 2035 final whistle, but what's the team order?
  2. mm. 30"? might actually even fit some current frames and forks... Bike building R&D departments are losing their touch...
  3. it's a team TT, so it'll be interesting to see how QS play this. Seeing as JV have some decent riders on deck and Rohan Dennis to advise, I'd say advantage JV from day#1
  4. hard not to see it as 'Rog&Ving vs Pog' mkII...
  5. Love me a TTT, but... A slight mishap can kick the GC battle into touch on a 14km opening stage. I hope that doesn't happen. On the flipside, even if QS do well, the chances of JV knocking it out the park are great, so I guess the question is: who will with 2 grand tours this year? ho hum...
  6. Smoove ~ Squirt - very similar. some swear by Smoove, but I think the cleaning intervals/methods are more important.
  7. Phil Gaiman weighs in...
  8. heresy!!! unbeliever!!! 🤣
  9. Ah, you need your car's exhaust for that.
  10. It's the Weskus... Plan on there being wind. If it's a northerly, it'll probably blow the whole day, so plan on a later arrival in Elands, but tailwind from there. If it's a S/SE-er, plan on it appearing later on - perfect for a headwind on the trundle back to Velddrif. Easterlies and westerlies only crop up later afternoon, so shouldn't bother you I will take your photo, but only if you smile nicely
  11. @Mamil's race recaps are the best!! who's with me?
  12. LOL... how to tell someone you're a lawyer without telling them you're a lawyer
  13. queue the GOAT, Marianne Vos... oh, and throw in some Olympic confetti too
  14. does anyone outside of the Netherlands know the Dutch national anthem better than Wout van Aert?
  15. Was it just me that felt Pog opened up his sprint against Mads really early? Mads had to follow and while the early going was good for him as his pure power in a sprint is better than Pog's, but Pog just outlasted him and towards the end Mads flagged while Pog stayed strong and pulled ahead.
  16. how did Pog show that today?
  17. Yeah, if Remco sneaks off, no way is the Dutch team catching him and Wout won't be able to sag lip like last time Remco did his own thing... A current WC is allowed to do that! Still, Denmark and Netherlands have enough skin in the game to work together, but will they?
  18. If he has the good legs, as King Kelly'd say, he'd be a tough one to beat. On this course and on his day, is there anyone to touch him? a Pog/RE break maybe? But this kind of short sharp burst racing is something VDP has trained for most of if life. WvA will need a blinder
  19. Who's the first then? Hoy does have quite a legacy on the track. I scanned the wiki list and I'm liking Danny MacAskill tbh
  20. well, if it's kids from Glasgow and Remco pops out to grab one, it may be the last thing he does for some time... Joke goes that a Glaswegian was walking down the street and was surprised the guy he spoke to carrying a golf club was actually going to play golf.
  21. perhaps they're trying to eliminate sticky bottles and that ilk?
  22. who wouldn't want to see someone run the 100m in 4sec?
  23. This YT channel popped up for me recently - (454) Cycling Highlights - YouTube It's pretty hilarious. Though quite sad at the same time
  24. Looks like it's doing 60kmh on the stand! enjoy.
