  1. They are 30mm internal rims, so I suggest that you put 45'ish mm tyres on there.
  2. Definitely a Nope Rope !
  3. Great to see and hear !! But still in hospital, so it's too soon to ask what's next (like start again, or come home ?)
  4. That takes me back to my confusion when I went and bought the wrong one when they first came out 🤣
  5. https://www.instagram.com/reel/CkqgvwZIcsC/?igshid=MDJmNzVkMjY%3D
  6. I am gutted for her and the support team. Like, where to from here ?
  7. Looks like riders will get a Groove Tool Pro (with no chain breaker) in the DC goodie bags 😎
  8. Does anyone know if / when an updated version of the 530 is coming out? Perhaps a 540 ? I notice that there are suddenly quite a few 530's up for sale. It may be a coincidence, or perhaps people are offloading to make way for something new.
  9. That cycle lane heading towards Observatory is virtually non-existent. Big sections have been painted over and turned back to parking or bus stops for long sections. The one on the other side heading towards Town is actually pretty good.
  10. What was her mileage yesterday ? And is she riding again today ? That tracking website shows strange mileage and not sure how/when it updates. i.e. not very reliable (if you are looking for accurate and up to the minute info)
  11. For many motorists, cyclists are obstacles and obstructions. Things that are in the way and must get past and around. Like a bollard or speed bump. And I don't just mean here in SA, its like that around the world. But here we have African rules with an associated disregard for other people's lives.
  12. So, I've had a reasonable day in the office (working from home). Tegan has klapped just over 300km. (the tracker shows over 500km)
  13. As per other thread - bike jacking near Tokai circle this morning Cyclist vs car in Hout Bay this morning - serious condition (no details of the incident via Whatsapp groups) Also a crash in the PS group near Hout Bay circle. Not a great morning to be out.
  14. Sorry to hear about this incident. Glad that you were not hurt. Were you riding alone at the time ?
  15. It's an unreleased (allround) road frame with 32mm tyre clearance They responded to my email
  16. Is the road to Stanford rideable ? Weren't there some major roadworks along that stretch recently? Awesome looking ride. Keen to hear how it goes
  17. What gear ratios are you looking for? If not Shimano, is there perhaps a Sunrace option that could work for you ?
  18. I was wondering if this was a special edition Tagati with narrower tyre clearance as the 'normal' one can take 29x2.4" tyres.
  19. Is there a tracking site somewhere ? (Now that I am done with Rhino Run and RASA, I need something else to distract me from productive days at work)
  20. Possibly a bit early, but there are lots of other topics to bring up and argue about: Start order, seeding, team cars and bottles, teams drafting each other, Neutral zone tactics etc
  21. I haven't done a PPA race in years, so am clearly out of touch. Do teams have cars that follow the batches at every race ? Do individuals have cars that follow them at the races too? All I can think of is the chaos of team cars at the DC and why the stopped them driving the route.
  22. Does that mean its still a hyperbike, or is it now just an ordinary superbike ?
  23. No. 22 Bicycles with some 3D printed titanium bits (Not sure if I love the stem, but the rest is interesting) https://cyclingtips.com/2022/11/show-stopper-no-22-bicycles-dive-into-3d-printed-titanium-integration/
  24. That's interesting (and brave !) I wonder if it will do the book justice ?
  25. They are not UCI legal, but seem to be removable. https://cyclingtips.com/2022/10/unpacking-the-new-bianchi-oltre-rc-we-have-questions-and-some-answers/
