  1. I have ridden in bunches of 35 and upwards in Richardsbay, and we managed to maintain two abreast for at least 95% of the time, even at 5 am....simply by some of the stronger riders taking charge. I would blame the organizers and marshals... I am sure that rules of the ride is explained beforehand, so just go to the offender and chuck him/her out the bunch. They will either stop riding or obey. From the start I was taught that two abreast only happens on a wide shoulder, and three abreast happens when you pass.
  2. 225 lm, but that is road riding with no streetlights.
  3. Chalktrail: Bike add-on combines cycling and sidewalk chalk art Kids love creating art almost as much as they love getting out on their bikes, but with this approach choosing what to do doesn't have to be an either/or decision. The Chalktrail is an add-on which turns any bike or scooter into an artistic tool by holding a stick of chalk which is pressed to the ground behind you as you ride, leaving a colorful trail showing where you've been. http://www.gizmag.com/chalktrail-bike-chalk/22205/

  14. So....how long have you nurture these feelings towards weight weenies.....
  15. It is not nearly as crowded as the Argus, if that is your frame of reference for "social bunch" the whole race is done on wide roads and freeways, so no pinch points like Boyes drive etc.
  16. He is unavailable...apparently having a tiff with Google....
  17. Not wheezing....falling (with style if you must)

Wonder what the rolling resistance is on this....
  19. ADAPTRAC changes mountain bikes' tire pressure on the fly Like a lot of other factors involved in mountain biking, setting the air pressure of the tires is a matter of compromise. Keep them too soft, and you can’t go as fast as you’d like on smooth stretches of the trail – keep them too hard, and they’ll just bounce off of roots and rocks instead of gripping them. As it stands, most bikers go for a “Jack of all trades, master of none” setting, that allows for some traction and some speed. The folks at ADAPTRAC, however, apparently think that such a compromise shouldn’t have to be made. Their new system allows riders to inflate or deflate their tires as conditions dictate, while they’re riding. http://www.gizmag.co...pressure/22190/
  20. Some really beautiful stuff there Dangle. I used to hang out in audio shops when I was young, and when you still had plenty guys stocking some high end equipment.
