  7. I had to use google image search for that one: http://agonistica.com/recipe-for-disaster-by-steve-mcghee/ Recipe for Disaster by Steve McGhee “My work reflects a personal interest in things human beings have little or no control over. We walk through life feeling like we’re indestructible, while in reality, we’re just the opposite. In the days and weeks following a major catastrophes,, people tend to reboot – we get shocked back into being human. That is to say, we react in an undeniably human way… whenever tragedy strikes in the world people come together to help those directly affected. It’s just too bad we have to be reminded that we’re human in such terrible ways. My work is in no way intended to glorify or condone acts of terrorism or celebrate the loss of millions of souls who have perished in past events, rather it is a commentary on the frailty of human existence and made to honour the loved ones left behind to deal with their unbearable loss.” http://stevemcghee.com/
  8. 10 years ago (2003) we had the most snow coverage on the mountain and it happened in September. Its not uncommon to get snow a couple of times a year, including September but that is usually only a small bit.

  16. I measured 60mm over a 36hr period in my rain meter this morning at 5:50am this morning when it had stopped raining. When I left home at 6:20am it was pouring again so going to be interesting. I've measured over 150mm in the last two weeks now! This is going to be a record rainfall August month as we only average 76mm .
  17. My son was 4 (now 6) when he saw UP. He is very emotional about elderly people and thats why the movie upset him. My wife only watched half of Hachiko.

  23. I also have one of the Mr P specials and it works 100%. Its great for those quick cleans but I also clean my chain in a bottle of benzine after a couple of washes. I know some Hubbers use two chains, one on the bike and another in the cleaning liquid. I also use wet lube and find the chain cleaner works great here as the lube belongs inside the rollers, not on the outside and this what the chain cleaner is good at.
