    The price is going to rocket once the bid opens. According to the manufacturer's website, it retails for about R50K. So about the same as the Darkhorse ebike. This one, however, is quite the head turner.

    A bit difficult for me as to the device. Hand washing the straps would probably be the best method.

    I have the HRM-Pro, which cannot be chucked in the washing machine. I have to rinse/wash by hand.

    Good morning, Hubbers! Anyone managed to successfully get rid of the manky smell that develops on a Garmin HRM strap? I rinse mine on occasion, especially after a hot ride, but there's a stank to it now which no amount of rinsing under lukewarm water will solve. TIA.

    Last year's winner was Matt Beers. I think he solo'd to a win, and we know what its like when he hits the front. Not taking away from Marc's power or ability.

    I'm very disappointed to hear this, but relieved I never came through. The organizer will have to have a close look at the route for 2025 and make sure what can be addressed is.

    This is the primary reason (other than lack of fitness LOL) that I did not do this event, being from the Souf, the costs are simply too high. Probably the most expensive gravel event (correct me if I'm wrong) and you really don't get much for your money.
