  1. Good morning, Hubbers! So, I've been on the classifieds for quite some time, and sales marked as "urgent" have been popping up more regularly. I believe the reason these sales are marked as such is because a person might be leaving the country, or needs cash urgently for some other emergency in their life. YET, these sellers, in my experience, are often not open to negotiation as much as one might think. I was therefore wondering - if the seller is desparate for the sale, should he/she accept the first offer that comes their way? Can the prospective buyer lowball them and pounce on a deal? After all, the sale is "urgent", so they need $$$ quickly. Your thoughts! #mightthisbeafridaytopic?
  2. I don't think he's ever done a worlds. Because he'd have won at least one by now if he could be bothered. Would be SICK.
  3. Top competitors in World Championships ME - Road Race 2023 (procyclingstats.com) Start list is jacked.
  4. Ross Tucker's pod. Seems I got my Mexican foods mixed, my bad.
  5. I remember a podcast I listened to they spoke about a woman who got busted, and she used "the meat my taco was contaminated" excuse.
  6. A colleague at my former place of work used to consume Ritalin while he was completing his studies. He said it worked like a bomb. I've been poep scared to even try the stuff just to see if it works. I think it's pretty dangerous to try without a proper evaluation and prescription from a medical professional. He wouldn't tell me how he got hold of it either.
  7. I've read some stories where riders/runners/athletes take things in secret, not spilling the beans to anyone. That being said, if AG2R had their own in-house drug testing (I think JV does), this would have been detected and he wouldn't have made the team to begin with.
  8. Ag2r Citroën's Alex Baudin tested positive for Tramadol at the 2023 Giro d'Italia, which is against UCI Medical Rules, and has had his results from the race expunged. As it's a first offence, he will not receive a ban or suspension.
  9. Wait a minute, You can BET on politics?! What on earth are the bets?
  10. Frosty can confirm this - cash flow.
  11. If you have TrainingPeaks or some similar tracking software (Strava Premium), I would LOVE to see your fatigue number as the months go on (genuine request).
  12. This seems to be the case, but entry fees for gravel events are much more than road races. GT100 this weekend for example, R900 for the long one. I don't quite know what you get for your R900 (don't BS me with water points). Don't even talk about RTTS (that race if you're deep South based is expensive beyond the entry fee).
  13. I so badly want to start this, but none of my people are interested in joining. The rackets are becoming cheaper, and in my area, you have one of 2 facilities (one of which is still being built). Anyone here actually play padel?
  14. This made made me literally LOL. I find that bunches in mass start races often don't know how to ride in a bunch, so anticipating their movement leads to the possibility of smashing into a pothole. Jesus my guy. I wish I had your entry fee and petrol/diesel budget!
  15. Road conditions Motorists (read taxis and trucks) Escalating costs to host I've promised myself I will no longer do events that are not held of closed circuits, or where it is known that traffic is very light. The condition of the road naturally plays a big role too. So my calendar is very sparce - Ama-tjova and RJ947.
  16. Yes, innovation drives sales LOL. 500% stiffer than our last frame? It'll sell by the million.
  17. T&Cs for cover if the bike is stolen from a vehicle.
  18. I think he asks which episode in particular.
  19. If you've watched any Diamond League athletics, this makes total sense. Records tumbling at EVERY event. This early in the season too? I smell a FAT RAT.
  20. The insurer I'm with will not cover you if your bike has been stolen from inside your car. The entire reason I transport my bike inside my car is I would never dare leaving it on the bike rack while I pop into the Engen 1stop for a Coke after an event. Insure - you can't live them, you can't live without them. They pray off our fear.
  21. Not me, no. Lost 2 mid-level bikes, and my heart is still sore.
  22. Zohra and Ramoleli, I hope you're good at something else, because ain't no way you're getting back into powerlifting and athletics.
