  1. Race to the Sun jumps to mind. Can someone please explain why the entry fees are so high? They don't face half of the legal obstacles that road events do, but the premium over road events is noticable?
  2. No, what I mean is everytime I open my eyes, there are new gravel events in the WC, whereas GP has a shortage. OK, TBF, a few have new ones started popping up, but it's all doer and gone from me.
  3. O look, another gravel race in the WC 😭
  4. DSTV boet.
  5. I'm sure the banana bread made teh suffering worth it.
  6. Is he, though? I can't recall his official confession, but did he dope for all his GC wins? Miguel Indurian wasn't an innocent boy either..
  7. I was looking up exactly this stat last night. https://www.procyclingstats.com/rider/lance-armstrong/1999 - 4 incl. the prologue 2000 - 1 only 2001 - 4 2002 - 4, again 2003 - 2 2004 - 6, big haul. No other noteworthy results that year, interestingly. 2005 - 2 2009 - 1, but it was a TTT 2010 - 0 2011 - no participation Grand total* - 24 Official grand total - 2. 1995 - stage 18, 1993 - stage 8. DNF for that Tour. A number of these stage victories are time trials, no wonder his strongest rating is TT on PCS.
  8. I don't think Eddy cares too much. One record may have fallen, but there are still SO many out there for the taking, some which may never go. I mean, who has an hour record AND a grand tour overall win (multiple, mind you)?
  9. This is exactly why I think Cav's stage victories mean nothing to me. Don't get me wrong, Cav's achievement is most certainly noteworthy, but shouldn't even be mentioned in the same breath. We shall see at the end of Pogi's career, then we will be able to compare the two.
  10. How much longer can he keep his poker face though? Stage 18 of 21 today, I'd say if he doesn't cash in his chips now, he's stuck with a pair, while Pogi holds a royal flush.
  11. Let's not get carried away now.
  12. You're not the only one, no.
  13. A friend of mine is now struggling with his CORE. No power, no cadence but speed is there.
  14. 10 years later, wow.
  15. Second that.
  16. I get it!
  17. Some stages might not have 2 hours worth of highlights to show.
  18. Wowzer. What a looker. And the correct engine to boot.
  19. These damn watches are becoming like smart phones. Every year there is something bigger and "better", you simply cannot keep up. I have a FR955, which means I'm already a model behind (They appared within a year of one another. Reviews of the 965 states don't bother upgrading unles syou need the AMOLED screen). So I anticipate the arrival of the 975, which means I'll be 2 models behind. My FR955 is working well. I see the battery life, however, is starting to shortened already.
  20. Phone your GP, make an appointment, that's my first choice. You might get referred to either an ENT, or a neurologist.
  21. yes, bring it back! Why was it taken away in the first place?
  22. I'm very concerned for Stage 21. Yes, Remco didn't gain a truckfull of seconds in the first ITT, but he gained. If the gap between Pogi and Remco remains tight, a major slipup from Pogi will lose him the tour. It's about time that the final stage of the biggest bike race in the world plays a bigger role than just a parade and a small sprint at the end.
  23. As I posted in another htread, the urgent sale descriptor must fall! If you need it gone, I'm going to offer you a basement price.
