  1. Hi guys, This is one of the only things that I miss by not living in "the big city". We do not get to experience the fun/comradrie of big organised group rides. Enjoy Sarge
  2. Hi Chill, I am not a clean freak, but I wash all new clothing before using. I do not like the stiff scratchy feel - or the smell. Regards Sarge
  3. Hi, +1 for me as well. I was at home alone yesterday so spent the time out in the veld with some buddies riding the farm tracks. Was as hot as hell but was great. Just hope the rest of 2014 will be as good - let us hope so. Have a good day at work Sarge

  6. Hi, +1 Lone R. It is the way I do it as well. Have had a R100 Nokia "Game special" in my bag next to the spare tube for the last 2 years. Have a good one Sarge
  7. Morning gents, Sounds as if you have started a good thing here. Hope that you have a good one. It's going to be a little wet isn't it? Regards Sarge
  8. Hi guys, Nothing at all exciting for me but it was nice to get this morning out after nearly a 10 day layoff - rain and a family visit, Enjoy Sarge
  9. Hi Solly, My new bike came out with a compact, but I could not get used to it. Replaced it with a standard - even though as Sharky says, the compact is nice on a steep hill. Regards Sarge
  10. Hi gents, I left the "bug net" in mine and only use the helmet on colder days - quite convenient. Well done to ASG. Have a good one Sarge
  11. Hi Corrie, I think that the Sella saddles are great and the Q-Bik is a bargain at the price that they go for. I have had one on my MTB for the last year and it is still spot on. Sarge
  12. Hi, Leave the kids at home and put the bike in the back of the Landy. HaHa. Have a good day Sarge

  16. Hi, Yes Thomo, you get that paste that you use with carbon parts with a rough stuff in it. It might work. Sarge.
  17. Hi guys, It was my first OFM and well worth the drive from Ladysmith. It was well organised and the registration, start and finish were great. I went down with the rest, when the B batch crashed and only could get riding when the C batch came past. Luckily I joined the secound group and stayed with them to the end. It was a nice bunch of guys to ride with - thanks. Regards Sarge

  20. Hi gents, It is not only the cell companys that are corrupt. I had a similar thing with one of our banks. I was on a "pay as you transact" account. I was also sent an sms telling me that I had been upgraded to a new account that was going to cost me X ammount a month. If I did not send them an sms declining the offer, it would stand. I sent them the sms saying "no thanks" but a few months later I found out the monthly payment was implimented. The problem was sorted out but only after I had phoned their customer line and complained. One must be awake now days Sarge
  21. Hi, And RESPECT to CWC as well, Sarge

  23. Hey Vetseun, We going to see it at the Amashova this year? Regards Sarge
  24. Hi Joe Low, What you say is 100% correct and we do try and be carefull, but unfortunately every now and again we start thinking with the wrong thing and the brain looses out. Another lesson - sit on your nuts and use your brain!!! Sarge
