  1. Hi, I understand Francois has the solution. I read somewhere that most of your control etc etc is off the front wheel. Thus if your wheel is wider it can be run softer and you will have more grip, and all the rest. Sarge
  2. Hey boet, times are hard - you have my sympathy. I can remember how bad things were just after the rinderpest--------. Bite the bullet, hire a blond, you will recover. Sarge.
  3. Hi to all of you and I hope that you are having a great Friday. When I read the origional post, the only thought that went through my mind was that we must be more carefull with our toys at/after a race. I took the thread as a warning to all of us to be more careful. It is a pity but the "skellems" are all around us - all the time and there is nothing we can do about it. A big up to Impey and let's celebrate his success. Sarge.
  4. Hey gents/ladies, How do we celebrate? Apart from the usual beer etc etc. Bunch rides in yellow, national holiday. What do you suggest? Sarge
  5. Give in to the urge and eat the stuff - don't fight a good thing!! Sarge

Hi, I was watching S Cycling the other evening and they had an insert on the team busses. They must cost a small fortune as well. How about when you guys arrange for the Chinarello's to win a stage -or 2 you can find a nice taxi from SA to ferry the "boys" around. HaHa Have a great day Sarge
  7. Hi Hellocolour, Looks as if you have got the tour covered - well done. It is going to be a rough few weeks for you. Good luck Sarge
  8. Hi to all of you, I ride a Trance with a 120 stem, but after reading your comments I am quite tempted to try an 80mm. Regards Sarge
  9. Hi Mr T, I agree with you, but you must agree that riding a well specked bike ( expensive) is a real pleasure. As apposed to a Game special. Have a good week Sarge
  10. Thanks boet, Have a great weekend Sarge
  11. Hi Thomo, Sorry for the delay in answering, but I am not always logged on. Price wise they are in the same range as the Fulcrum 5, the Shimano RS 30 and the Mavic Aksium. The difference is that they are quite a lot lighter at 1490g. Thanks Sarge.
  12. Hi there, I have seen a set of Aluminium WWS-XR300 Edge Design wheels advertised. Their price and spec is good, but has anybody had any experience with them? How good are they? Phone me on 076 262 0822 if you preferr and let me know. Thanks gents Sarge
  13. Hi BigH, I can see a lot of fun ahead for you. Well done and enjoy because by the time you blink he will be waiting for you on the top of a long uphill pull. Regards Sarge
  14. Hi Heino, Sorry to hear that you have s#^t in your life. I hope things get better. There is NOTHING better than going out for a ride with a bunch of buddies and enjoying a cup of coffee with them afterwards. I am afraid riding alone is not much fun at all. Regards Sarge.
  15. Hi, It is great that the event was such a success. The GPS thing would worry me - I get lost at home. I think "The Farmer" might still be looking for me today!! Well done Sarge.
  16. Hi all, I greet everybody - even the dirty buggers. Have a good day Sarge
  17. Jip JJDT, I think the chain gangs etc are the way to go. Prison time must be so bad that the "bad guys" must be too scared of getting caught and doing time. Sarge
  18. Hi, You could change the question slightly and ask - HOW MANY WOULD YOU LIKE??? HaHa Sarge
  19. Hi, If Warren is correct, that would be another reason why not to be a vegetarian!!!! Have a good day Sarge
  20. Hi Jigghead, How do you park your bike in that rack??? Just curious Sarge

  22. Hi Tombeej, I like what you say. Will be buying a can this morning!!!! I would aim for the driver - he should be in control of clients. Regards Sarge
