  1. Lionel doesn't operate like that - but also cool with me if I can get my hands on one - IMHO still going to better than a dogma frame for less
  2. I am going to speak to Lionel at Omnico to try and find out when they expect it in SA
  3. It's not made for the pro's but mass US market - also for idiots like Bender and I that are sold on C'dale
  4. jy maak my dag - waar is bender - cannot wait
  5. Try OUtsurance next time - assessed my claim and settled within two days
  6. Bender - I'm confused by your answer. Was cyclebuzz selling e-glass frames - the same buzz that posted on this topic?
  7. the "made in china" sticker was the every first thing I noticed on the 2010 hi-mod's we have - yours being a team issue might have the label removed
  8. I can vouch for a chinese made frame - my cannondele super six hi-mod is made in china and it is an absolute joy. Jokes aside, a buddy of mine (not a hubber) bought na unbranded Kuota Kredo from the Chinese manufacturer 2 years ago - bear in mind he is 6feet 4inches and 105 kilos - not a day's problem with the frame, fork, headset and seatpost. At the price you pay you simply throw it away if something happens and buy a replacement. As posted previously I am also seriously thinking of buying an unbranded dogma from the same seller my buddy originally bought from - just waiting for the confirmation on size. Even if it is made of a lower grade carbon the dogma is the most comfortable road bike that I have had the pleasure of riding and at $450 landed it is a give away. I have already sourced a supplier of the dogma stickers from Brazil
  9. Why be a sheepish stereo type - real gonads dude. BTW - Sugoi will be listing / selling the 2011 Liquigas kit from May and I cannot wait to place an order
  10. Agree, Mille in any colour except white - I have red to go with tha bike
  11. They just don't won't understand
  12. must be a c'dale hi-mod owner thing
  13. I also have the white FI13 - white bibs are becoming more popular and actually does not look too bad. IMHO the Mille is more comfortable than the FI13 and almost half the price
  14. I just put my shoes in the washing machine directly after the ride with lots of omo and it comes out white again - it helps that I have another pair available
  15. After every 94.7 - I just hate cycling in the heat and just too many roadie everywhere on the roads in summer and then I get the feeling back and start up in the winter again
  16. contact vanload and find out if they are - 083 279 7195
  17. There are two that come the mind 1. Being on the bike when you cycle past the scheme of an accident and a cyclist died 2. Down hill, approaching a T junction and about 40-50 meters before the turn I got a front flat so I could only go straight, scared sh!tless knowing that I do not have right of way. Hit the curb full on and landed on the softest grass ever - thanksfully early in the morning and no cars
  18. SA LBS's have sooooooo much to learn from the UK - customer service, value for money, do it right the first time, pride, act and take action on customer complaints and most of all - real "qualified" mechanics working on bikes. I get all of this from Eben and his crew at west rand cycles - except for the certification of the mechanic buit i have known Mike for many years
  19. to all that went under 3. 3:09 for my first argus - I had no idea what to expect so hang with the bunch until Bossie. After that I drove hard as the guys didn't want to go so cramps to the best of me at the bump through clifton
  20. I use Bontrager sealant in my tubbies - 30ml is enough to seal punctures
  21. I am on RED for 2 years as well now - IMHO only it beats Campy and Shimano. I found that with Force you have to push the shift leaver further than with Red - that is the only difference from a driver interaction perspective. It is said that Force cassette run quiter than Red but i have not tried it yet. I use a dura ace chain as the hollowpin Red chain also contribute to the noice factor of Red. Should you want to "upgrade" in future I would suggest upgrade to Red shifters only as that is where the magic is - the rest of the grouppo don't differ a lot. With SRAM I really enjoy the fact that you can climb on the brakes and shift at the same time
  22. Same here - off track mind
  23. I recently experienced the same after two rides - I got myself some slowmag and problem solved - the body must have been low on mag as I have not used it in years. I believe that it is the way that your body tells you want it needs
  24. 1.75m 76kg 56cm top tube
  25. Joining Bender on a 'Dale
