I am no longer supporting the COD franchise. After Advanced Warfare being a total let down and a waste of my R800 I decided not to support them anymore. That and that actor they used put me off the games. So I am glad I did not pre-order the WW2 game.

So visited the folks yesterday to do a bit of wood work. Here is what we accomplished. Used pallet wood, stained and used a sanding sealer on the wood. My dad wanted to do things his way, and took a lot of short cuts, but all in all I think for a first attempt at this was not to bad. Just needs a bit of electrical work and two bulbs. My dad also started a coffee table, but did not get to far. Darkness caught us and the fumes from the stain and sealer was a bit to much in the “shed” Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

Guys, my dad will kill me for this... He was retrenched earlier this year. He is a real handy guy that can make a stunning braai out of a few pieces of stainless steel. My grandfather was a meneer at woodwork. Had all the great toys and machines needed to make a mediocre piece of wood something great that lasted. But my grandfather was a twat and left everything to his son in law that gave away all the machines after the old man passed. So dad has the basics. A old router (that trips the power), sanders, drills and a circular saw. So he can get most things done, but I want to help him a bit. I know he needs a planer (my uncle has one and the 25km outing does them good) But are there things that can make life easier for him? One thing that I loved as a kid was the DeWalt mitre saw (but that is long gone) I know the router can be fixed. I think it is either the brushes that needs cleaning or replacement, but I think that is a Makita router, so it will outlast us all... Wood saw is on the list (he uses a grinder as a saw) and chisels maybe later? Any books that will help him? We are heading home this weekend to go and build a headboard for me and the SO, and to help him on his other projects, but first of all to give him a wood saw! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Pro

Been playing Euro Truck Sim 2 on the MacBook the past few days. Had the PC on twice the past month, so no playtime. The SO has this way to make me feel guilty of a game session every now and then. Sounds like it was caused by pressure. No idea how or why, but would happen at every sneeze. But since Friday, it stopped. The pain associated with the sneezing has abated as well. And out again... started feeling a scratch on Friday. Saturday and Sunday I was out with the worst body ache. Only got out of bed to wee. Went to the office yesterday, stuck it out. This morning woke up with a very bad headache. Went to the office, started sneezing and then the blackout. Stood up and but did not get far, and lost track of where I was on my way to site. I ordered a new screen card for my PC. Wait time was 6 weeks, but I got it in 2 weeks (about 3 weeks back) I wanted to get a GTX1060 but seems that the GTX1060 falls in the budget for most bitcoin mining rigs, thus the wait time was some 6 - 10 weeks. So decided that a bonus month was on the way and I billed quite a huge amount, and I sold a NUC, I decided to go for the GTX1070. Played a few games on it, but sharing time with the SO and gaming time is a juggling game, So need to get a few hours in on the games, of I have to find out how to mine Bitcoin or Cryptocurrencies.

On my test at Watloo they had a bug problem. So had to get off the bike, throw up on the yard as I swallowed a mouth full of miggies. Lady was very friendly and kind, but it did help to go for the driver education course at BMW to know what to do, what not to do, and if you do make a mistake, how to cover it up. Started watching Banshee... Did not know the age restriction on it. First episode and within 5 min banging... So not something that you will watch with mom and dad. I once (in 1998) tried to be a show off. I fell my ass off when locking my rear brake caused me to flip (at speed) in front of about 70% of the school. I was out for about 30 seconds.
